I WILL BE REWRITING THIS. MY WRITING STYLE HAS CHANGED SO MUCH AND I SORT OF FEEL EMBARRASSED WITH THIS LOL.
- I APOLOGISE FOR ALL THE CRINGY THINGS THAT I HAVE PUT INTO THIS BOOK. I'LL BE CHANGING THOSE AS WELL.

''I'm not trying to do anything, Y/N,'' she spoke in an utterly gentle and meek voice, ''rumours spread around quickly at this school, you know?''
''What are you talking about?'' I sighed, opening the door as I walk inside of my room, Annie following behind, careful of her step. She kept her arms folded in front of her chest as she slowly walked into my room, looking at every detail carefully, as if she was trying to take everything in.
''I heard Mister Ackerman got fired.''
''So?'' I said, trying my best not to show her I cared about it. I didn't want her to feel like I had anything to do with it, but her even speaking to me again showed me she knew something. Maybe Reiner told her too, it wouldn't surprise me.
''Y/N,'' she sighed, ''I don't care about you, you know?''
''Eh, thanks?'' I knit my brows together as I cocked my head slightly to the side, confused why she would say that. ''Anyway, Reiner told me you were dating him.''
I kept quiet, not in the mood to get insulted by her again. I knew she has a crush on him, she made it way too clear when I first attended this school. And the fact that Reiner told her as well made my blood boil. Was this dude that bored that he'd tell more people and especially people he knows don't like me?
''Reiner is an idiot,'' she suddenly said, ''a dimwit.'' She sat down on my bed and stared at the wall, her eyes downcast and still showed how bored she was.
''Tell me about it... wait— what?'' I frowned, squinting my eyes at her as I watched her roll hers'. ''I thought you were going to insult me because you are in love with him,'' I said in a perfectly cool tone.
''I don't care for the old man anymore,'' she admitted, sighing before taking a deep breath, ''there's someone else I love and he loves me too.''
''Who is it?'' I awkwardly asked her. I wasn't sure if she was going to answer my question, considering her and I weren't exactly on good terms with each other. But, I was a little intrigued by her having a boyfriend. It wasn't that I didn't expect it— it's more like I'm happy she found someone who loves her.
''His name is Armin.''
''Does he go to this school?''
''Yes.''
I smiled at her although I still felt a little awkward, but it was nice to hear her talk about something she loved. It was almost like her eyes sparkled when his name left her lips, but that could just be my imagination.
''Anyway, you're not a baby anymore, you're an adult. If you love someone, fight for them. Don't let him go without a fight. And ... stop crying so much.''
I stared at her as my jaw slightly dropped, my brows raising and I couldn't help but laugh. I covered my mouth with my hand as I locked eyes with Annie. She had no idea what was going on. ''Stop laughing, idiot,'' she mumbled, a sneaky smile appearing on her face.
It was nice to talk to her again after such a long time. We used to be best friends after all and what she was saying is right. I have to fight for him, fight for our love. Annie and I started to talk about everything that had happened, apologising to each other for the miscommunication that had happened in the past. The awkward and uncomfortable feeling disappeared from my body as we started to laugh together, enjoying each other's presence as best friends.

I poured myself a glass of alcohol, pouring the liquid back into the bottle as I realised it was only afternoon, not that it mattered, really. I didn't know what the fuck I was doing. I took a kettle out of my kitchen, filling it up with water as I started to boil it, wanting to have a soothing cup of tea.
I didn't know why I was so harsh to Y/N, it wasn't like she had done anything wrong. Losing my job wounded me more than I would have expected it to. It wasn't because I was going to miss teaching those brats, fuck no, it was a relief I was finally done with them. But, maybe not.
After a few seconds of waiting for the water to boil, I took the kettle off the fire, pouring the steaming hot water into a cup and added a teabag. Black tea, my favourite. I sighed as I walked over to my sofa, sitting down on it before taking a sip of the tea, hissing because of the hot pain on my lips. My phone kept lighting up every 10 minutes because of; either a message from Erwin or a message from Y/N.
They both didn't know when to stop.
And Erwin really didn't know what he had done.
I mean, he did do the right thing. A student and a teacher shouldn't be in a romantic relationship and I should've thought more about this, but I didn't. I was blinded by love like some people would say. And I couldn't help it. I had fallen for her, harder than I wanted to.
''Maybe I need some distraction,'' I groaned as I tried another sip of my tea, burning my lips again, but I didn't care this time. I took my phone in my hand, typing a number into my phone and dialling it.

''Hey, you okay?'' Kurumi asked her when I walked into Kaguya and her's dorm room, they were roommates. ''Eh, I've been better, but I'll survive,'' I answered. I would. This wasn't going to kill me, but the anxious feeling might. The thought of losing Levi completely scared me and I really didn't want it to happen.
But I wasn't going to cry over it, like Annie said.
Annie suggested me to give him some time, something I had been planning to do already. I wanted him to have some time to get over the fact that he got fired, something he is probably upset about. So, after a few days I'd try to call him again and if he still doesn't want to get into contact then; then maybe I should let him go, even if I don't want to.
You can't force someone to stay with you.
''Let's go out tonight,'' Kaguya suggested and everyone either raised their brows or knit them together, ''I mean, let's eat dinner together. Out. At a restaurant, you know?''
''Sure,'' I replied and Annie, Tsukasa, Eren and Kurumi all nodded. I smiled, happy I was going to have some distraction.
