''You're going to be just fine,'' Kaguya smiles at me as she pushes my bag full of clothes against my chest, holding it while waiting for me to take it over from her. I was going back to my father today after a while of not seeing him. He had made it pretty clear I wasn't welcome for some time because of the situation with Levi, but also the situation with Hina— my stepmother.

I didn't blame him. Everything had gotten messy and I had never given Hina a chance after all, no matter how hard she tried to get me to like her— I just couldn't. I couldn't shake the thought of her trying to replace my mother out of my mind, although that wasn't even what she tried to do. She was simply trying to get along with me since she's marrying my father, and I shook her off without giving her a single chance. I was being selfish, and I had to make it up to them. To both of them, Hina and my father.

The situation with Levi was debatable since it was going to end up getting messy either way, no matter how we handled things— I feel like it was going to turn out into a big mess no matter how hard we tried to prevent that. What we were doing was wrong in many people's eyes and I couldn't blame my father for being angry with me. My relationship with Levi did cost him his job and it's because of me— of our relationship that he's moved away to another city.

But I didn't regret our relationship.

I know it's wrong in many ways, but I can't stop my feelings. I love Levi, and that wasn't going to fade away. I'm not sure what to say to my father about it, though. Levi is waiting for me, and if things go well and I end up graduating, we might even continue our relationship. I'll have to tell my father that and I'm sure it won't end nice, I might end up disappointing him even more.

''Yo, earth to Y/N. You still there?'' Kurumi waves her hand in front of my face, shaking me out of my endless thoughts about things that were wrong and could go wrong. I shook my head, clearing my blurry vision as I focused on Kurumi's face instead of staring at the ground. ''I'm still here, I was just thinking about the things that will happen when I go home.''

''Your father invited you, no?'' Kaguya asked as she crossed her arms in front of her chest while leaning on her left leg, her hip pointing the same direction while her head was cocked to the other side. Her lips were pursed and her eyes were big as she waited for me to answer her question.

I simply sighed and nodded my head.

''See, then you're all good. You're not coming home uninvited- or unwanted.''

''Yep,'' Kurumi nods while scraping her shoe on the ground, ''if your father didn't want to see you, he wouldn't have invited you. Same for Hina. Your dad is obviously in love with that woman and if she was still angry at you, she wouldn't have wanted you to come.''
