Akaashi, Kenma, and Suga walked inside the cafe

"Welcome beauties" the manager greeted them with a smirk on his face "Please go change into your uniforms. Suga will show you your uniforms"

They all nodded and walked to the changing room

"Here are the uniforms. Super simple"

"So we are gonna change here?"

"Yeah"

"Oh ok" Kenma frowned

"Why ken what's wrong"

"I don't know I just think the boss is a bit creepy kinda scared to change in here"

"Kenny it's alright" Suga smiled "I worked here long enough"

"Mkay" Kenma smiled then started changing

A few minutes later they all finished

"Is everyone ready?"

"Yeah"

"Yup"

"This week is gonna be pretty laid back and it's just going to be training. I'm just gonna showing you how to rearrange things and maybe start teaching you how to make drinks today"

"Wait when does our shift end again?"

"Oh, it usually ends at 7 pm. Sometimes it's more or less and your pay will differ so don't worry"

"Alright let's go" they all left

A few hours later

The shift was about to end, Akaashi and Kenma were mopping the floors while Suga was washing dishes

"Hey someone is outside" Akaashi pointed out

The person walked in

"Hey sorry we are clo-"

"Oh that's my boyfriend. I think you guys remember him" Suga walked inside the changing room

"Hi" Daichi smiled

"Former Captain of Kasaruno!"

"Hello to you former captains of Nekoma and Fukurodani"

"We actually quit volleyball like midseason"

"Hm why?"

"Uh family problems"

"Yeah" Kenma agreed

"Well since sugar and I were supposed to eat dinner wanna join us?"

"Uh sorry we both have a lot of homework!"

"It's alright next time maybe" Suga smiled as the couple left

"Why did you say-" Kenma asked

"Kenma we don't have money. We can't afford dinner."

"Oh yeah but the donation from last night we can-"

"No. That's your own money. Save it or buy stocks or whatever you do" Akaashi smiled 

"But our savings are running out soon. A cafe job isn't enough"

"I know ken." Akaashi hugged him "We'll find a way"

They returned home eating yet again cup noodles for breakfast

While Kenma was streaming Akaashi was looking all over the internet for jobs

"Cleaning?Nope job is too far..Hair salon? Can't cut hair...Teacher's assistant? Fuck no slots left" Akaashi sighed as he looked at Kenma's and his joined savings account

The truth is Akaashi had been searching for a while for a second job. Kenma and him had a little less than 50,000 yen (500 usd) in their savings and with rent coming up it would be difficult. 

"Fuck I can't let Kenma know."

That night he spent hours trying to find jobs but then spent the whole night asking people if they knew any jobs

He scrolled to his contacts all of the others not responding, leaving him on read, saying no, or full out blocking him. 

"Huh. Money really does attract friends"

He ended up looking at his boss, Akihiko's contact

He remembered the first day he went inside the cafe he said if he needed extra money to message the boss. It probably meant sex or something suspicious since the man was obviously rich and owning a cafe won't get you so much money.

Akaashi kept on switching between to text him or not. But in the end the black-haired male decided he should text him.

Akaashi: boss?

Perv: yes why so late at night? what do you need or possibly want?😉

Akaashi: remember when you said if we need extra money we should ask you

Perv: mhm

Akaashi: uh I would like to ask about the offer

Perv: meet me whenever you busy my love

Akaashi: i'm going to a party tomorrow so I cant 

Perv: perfect. meet me after.

Akaashi: but I'm gonna be wasted..?

Perv: just a quicky

Akaashi: ?

Perv: quick talk

Akaashi got off his phone. Sure it was sketchy but he didn't want to be homeless. 

He dozed off to sleep

He was awoken at 3 in the morning, another nightmare about his high school days

"I had such a perfect life I want to go back to it and fix everything" he sighed taking out his melatonin pills for his sleep
