The Academy (Part One) - A Disney (Kinda) One-Shot

As Wendy pulled her brown hair into a ponytail, she checked her reflection in the mirror. Not bad, she thought. After grabbing her bag and slinging it over her shoulder, she left her dormitory to go to her first class of the day- Science.

Wendy didn't hate science, she actually kind of enjoyed the class. Not the subject, just the class. The reason for this being her lab partner, Peter. He was the star of the soccer team and one of the nicest boys in school.

She and her best friend, Aurora, headed down to class.

"You gonna talk to him today?" Aurora asked. Wendy's face turned a deep scarlet red. She shook her head, violently, back and forth.

"Never!" Wendy replied. "He's so popular and I'm just..."

"A beautiful girl who Peter would be lucky to have," Aurora replied. Wendy blushed once more as they entered the classroom. "Go get em, tiger," Aurora whispered.

Wendy sat down next to the red head, and took out her notebook. She felt a tap on her shoulder.

"Hi," Peter said. Wendy smiled. "So, would you maybe want to come to our next soccer game?"

Wendy bit her lip and nodded. "Sure. When is it?"

"Saturday at noon," he replied. "Um, maybe after we could maybe go get pizza or something?"

"D-did you just ask me out?" Wendy stammered. Peter nodded, curtly. "Well then...yea. That sounds good." He breathed a sigh of relief. Once the period ended, Wendy and Peter walked out. As they parted ways, Peter yelled out, "Remember! Saturday at noon!"

Once Saturday came, Wendy put on a light blue dress and a matching ribbon, which went in her hair. She skipped down to the soccer field and sat beside Rapunzel.

"You here to watch Flynn?" Wendy asked. Rapunzel nodded. During the game, Peter had all of his focus contorted into winning. Halfway through, he scored an amazing goal. "Go Peter!" Wendy cheered. He looked up at her and blushed. Peter's team, The Lost, ended up winning, which was pretty great.

After winning, Peter ran over to Wendy. She threw her arms around him. "That was incredible, Peter!" she said.

Once again, he blushed. "Uh...thanks," he replied, smiling. "So you wanna walk?"

"Sure." The two walked off campus into the town. They stopped in front of an ice cream parlor. Peter held open the door for her. "Thank you," Wendy said, smiling.

They both ordered hot fudge sundaes, then sat down outside to talk. They talked for hours and once they were done, it was almost 5. "I had a wonderful time, Peter," Wendy remarked.

"Me too," he said. "Maybe we can do it again sometime?"

"I'd love to."
