Fame - A Daniel Huttlestone One-Shot

     After watching Les Miserables, Allison knew the kid who played Gavroche was going places. He had such an amazing voice. She looked him up on Google and found out that his name was Daniel Huttlestone and he was about her age, which was good because she had developed a small crush on him.

     Two years went by, and Allison still thought about him, quite a lot. She had been focusing on her career as well, though- posting You Tube videos, recording covers, that sort of thing.

     Then it happened.

     Someone in the biz had seen one of Allison's covers and invited her to a new premiere- Into the Woods. She had been dying to see it, after she had heard the Broadway soundtrack four years ago. The best part was: Daniel freaking Huttlestone was in it.

     For three weeks, Allison tried to find the perfect outfit and ended up successful. When the time came, a limousine was driven to her house to pick her up. She was dressed in a high low, strapless, dark purple dress with comfortable heels. Allison's best friend, Jessica (who she chose to bring as her guest, along with Allison's parents), helped her curl her hair and pin it to the side.

     After what seemed like an eternity, they arrived. The driver opened the door, and Allison was blinded by the flashing lights of the paparazzi. A woman with an ear piece rushed over to Allison and dragged her over to where the stars were.

     She felt star struck at seeing Meryl Streep, Anna Kendrick, Johnny Depp, Chris Pine, and many more. "Uh, excuse me?" she asked the woman. Impatiently, she looked at Allison. "Wh-where's Daniel Huttlestone?"

     "We're getting there. He's with Lilla Crawford," she said, as they approached. Allison felt her face grow rather hot as she saw her childhood crush before her eyes.

     "Hey! Is this the girl? You got Allison Carter??" Lilla said, astounded. The lady nodded, curtly, then hurried off. "Oh my gosh, I love your videos. I cry whenever I hear you sing On My Own. You have an amazing voice."

     "Yeah, I listen to your covers every day. You are my, like, favorite YouTuber," Dan said. Allison smiled the biggest smile of her life.

     "A-are you serious?" She turned to Lilla. "I saw Annie five times while you were in the cast." She now turned to Dan. "I rewind Les Mis over and over again, just rewatching your parts. You guys are my inspiration."

     "Oh shoot! We're supposed to be posing. Smile!" Lilla reminded them. After the photos, they were brought into a huge theatre with an insanely large screen at the front. The three teens sat in the reserved section behind Emily Blunt and Christine Baranski. Allison, joyfully, was asked to sit in between Lilla and Dan.

     During the film, Dan took out a phone (on silent and lowest brightness) and opened up his contact list. Immersed in the magic of the movie, Allison didn't notice. He opened up a new contact and typed in her name. Allison felt him nudge her shoulder.

     "Could I have your number?" Dan asked in the softest possible voice imaginable. Great full for the darkness of the theatre, Allison felt herself blush. She quickly entered her number into his phone.

     "Oh yea, can I have your number, too, Allison?" Lilla whispered, beginning to take out her phone.

     "I'll text it to you. Now might not be the best time," Dan mumbled. They sat through the rest of the movie, then waited until everyone left. That was when the stars were allowed to exit. "So Allison. Will we be seeing you again?"

      "I hope so," she said, smiling. Lilla and Dan walked her out to the limo. Jessica and Allison's parents sat, patiently, in the back.

     "It was so amazing meeting you," Lilla said, hugging her. "We have to hang out soon. Hey, are you free Saturday?"

     "I think so. I'll text you, okay?" Allison replied. Dan stepped foward.

     "I hope you had a good time," he said, awkwardly putting his hands in his pockets.

     "Are you kidding? This was the best night of my life," she stated truthfully. He smiled at her.

     "It was really great getting to meet you," Dan said.

     "Seriously, the pleasure was mine. I got to meet Daniel freaking Huttlestone and Lilla Crawford. Could it be cooler?"

      "So, uh, see you Saturday, I guess?" he asked. Allison nodded. Dan leaned down and kissed her cheek. "Yeah, I'll, uh, see you then."
