Cassiopeia was right.
Orion was just about to step out of her common room on Saturday morning, wrapped in her ballet attire when a Ravenclaw Head Girl came to her and told her that she was summoned to Professor Dumbledore's office, although, the Head Girl did not necessarily let her go in an instance; she props her for defending herself, but also gave her quite a mouthful for losing sixty-five points from Ravenclaw. She cursed herself silently as she walked towards the Headmaster Tower, something always just had to happen every time she was about to practice ballet.
Professor McGonagall was already waiting for her at the Headmaster Tower, standing in front of a big statue of a gargoyle at the end of the corridor. Professor McGonagall gave her a thin smile when she saw Orion walking towards her.
"There you are, dear," Professor McGonagall cooed when Orion stopped in front of her. "Everyone's waiting for you."
"Everyone?" Orion furrowed her eyebrows as she looked at Professor McGonagall who was looking at her with an unreadable expression.
"Yes, everyone," she said with a nod. "No need to make them wait any longer, dear, let's just go."
"Cockroach Clusters," she muttered as the gargoyle immediately stepped aside and revealed a circular stair. Both Professor McGonagall and Orion stepped into the stairs without a second glance, as soon as they reached the top of the stairs, they were met with an oaked double door.
Professor McGonagall didn't even knock as she opened one of the double doors wide open. She let Orion step in first as she held the door, before she let herself in. Orion has never been to Professor Dumbledore's office before, although she has heard Harry talking about how weird the office was, once in their first year.
The room was full with a vast number of portraits of the past headmasters, all looking down at Orion curiously, just like eagles eyes following their prey, as she walked into the guest area of the office, in the corner, near a large circular window.
Orion furrowed her eyebrows when she stepped into the corner and found all of her uncles and aunts there. Freya and Rebekah were seated on the sofa, while Kol, Elijah, and Marcel were standing not too far from them, engaged in a conversation with Professor Dumbledore. Cassiopeia and Cepheus were sitting on the sofa next to them, both of them letting out cunning smiles at Orion which she replied with a smirk.
Her eyebrows were furrowed once more, this time more deeply than before when she saw Draco Malfoy was sitting in one of the armchairs, looking bored as he stared into the window.
"What is he doing here?" Orion asked as she pointed to Draco who was now looking at her with a dumbfounded expression, looking as offended as ever.
"Believe me, Mikaelson, I have been asking the same question for the past five minutes," Draco said under his breath as he rolled his eyes.
Professor Dumbledore immediately turned around when he heard Orion's voice, as he broke himself from his conversation with Kol, Elijah, and Marcel.
"Hello, my favourite darling munchkin–although you've grown taller from the last time I saw you, how is that possible?" Kol said as he walked over to Orion to give her a hug. "Not that you're not my favourite, you guys just have never been a munchkin," Kol said to Cepheus and Cassiopeia and winked at them as he hugged Orion.
"My favourite uncle," Orion said as she laughed.
"Whatever it is that you did, I would like to thank you for a little family reunion, good job kiddo," said Kol, winking at Orion when they broke their hug. Orion could see Draco masking his chuckle with a cough from the side of her eyes.
