The cold weather with no greenery or flora insight only meant one thing in the mythology tale, Persephone had gone off to the Underworld to spend time with her love which also happened to be the King of the Underworld, Hades.

Just like the deal, six pomegranate seeds that the Goddess took meant six whole months she had to spend with her lover. Au contraire of what people perceived–that Persephone was tricked to eat the pomegranate, but before Persephone became the Queen of the Underworld, she was known as the Goddess of the Vegetation, she knew the consequences of eating any food from the Underworld, knew damn well what she's gotten herself into; and for the records, the deities never gets hungry.

Persephone didn't eat the pomegranate seeds because she was hungry, and if she didn't think about how the mortals would survive the wrath of her mother, she would've taken all of the seeds, that was for sure.

England hadn't had white Christmas for some time now.

But, if it was up to Orion, she wouldn't mind the whole of England, the whole world in fact, to be covered in white all year long. Despite the fact that she could never stand the cold, Orion loved winter and snow. Eternal winter had always sounded delightful for her.

Christmas has been either cloudy or rainy, yet on the contrary, it has never felt anything other than warm; wrapped in a blanket, hot cocoa mug on hands while waiting for each other to open presents, which was one of Orion's favourite part of Christmas, seeing both of her cousins sitting in front of a Christmas tree, abandoning their long-forgotten cold cocoa just to bicker to decide of who's the better gift giver between each other.

Orion ended up taking a bath after her impromptu morning activity with Draco Malfoy, she stood in front of one of the high windows with a wooden box in her hand while she watched the snow fall. Surprisingly, no matter how much she loved spending Christmas morning with her family, she couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief for the fact that she didn't have to face them. There was a twisted feeling on her guts as she thought about them, yet she really wouldn't trade spending Christmas away from them for anything as of right now, especially after her little argument with Cassiopeia being Cassiopeia, especially after her big argument with Elijah.

Orion tried to shake the thought of actually enjoying Christmas alone with Draco Malfoy, in his house too. She's a Mikaelson, for goodness' sake, family above everything and all that bullshit was ingrained in her brain since she could barely walk, but there she was, standing in Draco's room, enjoying Christmas without her family. Mippy had told her that Draco had waited for her in his kitchen, something about making lunch for himself. She was about to walk down the stairs when Mippy directed her upstairs instead, entering a large space of the kitchen, sunroof above their heads that Orion could see the snow falling from the outside.

She walked in while Mippy disappeared from behind her, she was immediately met with a view of Draco, now wrapped in his double-breasted blazer, a book in his hand as he leaned back on the marble top kitchen island.

"You're going to cook wearing that?" Orion crossed her arms in front of her chest, jolting her chin to point to what Draco was wearing.

Draco put his book down, glaring her up and down. "I thought you said you were going to take a bath, why are you still in your pyjamas?" He scoffed, looking at Orion wrapped in a pyjama shirt that fell to her thighs and a pair of high socks. "It's almost noon and you're still in pyjamas, that's a crime, Mikaelson."
