As usual, thank you to my love boa_hankock

Out of everyone she had been combat-trained with, Orion despised training with Elijah Mikaelson.

"You're a ballerina, you're supposed to have enough muscle on your legs to keep you hanging upside down until tomorrow!" Elijah chimed, slapping her lower calf with a wooden stick on his hand, pointing her to come closer to the punching sack.

"Oh my–stop that!" Orion threw her hands down, pushing the punching sack in front of her as she began to stand aside. "You promised me you wouldn't ruin my legs, I do ballet in case you forgot."

Orion took off her boxing gloves harshly, throwing them to Elijah's feet as she began to turn around, walking away from him towards the door, which was a wrong move.

Elijah was immediately in front of the door, grabbing her hand to stop her from moving which startled the hell out of Orion who widened her eyes in a second.

"Who says you're allowed to leave?" Elijah asked, his tone was cold, squinting his eyes not happy with how Orion reacted.

"I'm done," Orion shrugged, another wrong move because Elijah tightened his grip on her wrist. "You can't keep me here if I don't want to be here."

"Well, maybe, you should've been fast enough to block my fist with your leg," Elijah deadpanned, his face was as stern as his tone and Orion immediately scoffed.

"Well, maybe, you should ask my dead parents to reverse the curse they put on me and kill me, therefore I'm going to activate my vampire side and maybe I could block your punch fast enough for your likings," Orion snapped, taking her ponytail off harshly as she let her hair falls, looking at how her uncle's expression hardened at the mention of her parents and the curse they put on her.

So, she was right, they really were not going to tell her anything about the curse even though it was used on her.

"Excuse me, Orion?" Elijah tilted his head, waiting for his niece's explanation of her sudden outburst but Orion only let out a sharp scoff, shaking her head as she looked away from him. "This is unacceptable, this kind of behaviour is unacceptable in this house."

"You mean in my house?" Orion finally had the courage to meet her uncle's angry eyes. "You, all of you, kept making me feel like an outsider in my own house, do you not realise that? Inviting a stranger here without consulting with me first, making every decision about me without talking to me first!"

"Do you want us to leave? Is that what you want?"

"No!" Orion groaned, letting out a sharp laugh. "I want you to include me in every decision regarding me, I am not a kid anymore. I am done with people making a decision on me behind my back which only leads them to kill themselves."

"What's gotten into you lately?" Elijah asked, his voice dropped as his eyes softened. He's playing the disappointing father role and Orion despised that.

     Manipulator. She scoffed.

"Don't try using that tone on me, it won't work, I'm not ten anymore, I have more concern than just disappointing you," Orion glared at him, taking a sharp breath when she saw his expression hardened once more.

"Yeah, like what? Sleeping in a guy's house without telling any of us, a few weeks ago?" Elijah asked in such a low tone, still, it echoed through the room. Orion flinched at his tone and accusation.
