She has a small moon, a servant combing
her shadow, and flickering through our hearts
in fear of exile and the fate imposed on us by myths.

Darkness kindles him with light, so that he guards himself
in that realm of miracles.

Rage was never supposed to be beautiful.

No matter what anyone said, rage was supposed to be awful. Rage was a half bloodied knife that killed someone's son, a tight jaw that turned from a loving mother; it's a burning flame that rotted a heart until it stops beating for a good reason, a black cloud that consumed someone's mind overthrowing every rational thing out of the window. Rage was pretty, only when it was used as a weapon.

And weapon was never supposed to be enchanting, it was supposed to be heart-wrenching.

Yet, rage was the only emotion that Orion Mikaelson was sure of since the day she stepped out of her grandfather's garden eight years ago. The only emotion she knew the moment it came to her, the only emotion she had always been able to mask, it seemed like. She wouldn't want to say she could control it, as mighty as it sounded for her to mask it, most of the time rage still happened to find a way to control her instead.

Unlike mortals, vampires had the choice to turn their emotions off, completely shutting down every last bit of humanity they have, making them the most careless and ruthless beings without ever having to feel guilt or remorse. After all, it seemed to be the most distinguished part between mortals and immortals.

Sometimes Orion wondered if it was true what people said, that humanity was Gods' greatest mistake.

Orion had never seen her Uncle Kol looking at her with such anger, yet the moment he arrived after hearing upon what was happening to her, he looked at her with such deadly gaze, she could only be slightly grateful that it wasn't disappointment. He wasted no time to give Freya, Davina, and Vincent the instruction to mend the Kemiya connection between both Draco and Orion that she had tried to breach.

Despite being a vampire, there wasn't any witchcraft on the planet that Kol Mikaelson hadn't studied. Kol spent centuries travelling the world to master Kemiya in the 1800s, he was the only person in the family, even in New Orleans, that had mastered the art of Kemiya itself even when he no longer had the magical ability himself. Safe to say he wasn't messing around when he heard what his niece tried to do.

Kol was at the Ministry along with Marcel and Elijah when they heard Orion was involved in the attack that happened, the moment Dimmy told him how they needed him back at the house, Kol wasted no time getting back while Marcel and Elijah took their time interrogating the whole Ministry.

Barging into the Guest House of the Manor, a blood-bag in his mouth to gather the energy he knew he's going to spend, and a chalice along with sage in his hands, Kol spent two hours explaining to Davina and Freya the spell–which unknowingly to the whole family, was created by him–and spent four hours restoring the connection back using both his blood and him as the channel while Davina and Freya were the ones who did the spell and Vincent was the one who makes sure nothing was going to go wrong, and if anything did, he would be the one who stepped up.

It had been fifteen days since the incident, which also meant it had been fifteen days had Orion avoided talking to any adults in their family, to her surprise, they didn't push. Cassiopeia was the only person allowed in her room, she asked for Davina once in a while, but that was it. Between the twins, Cassiopeia was the only person that Orion told about what happened, even then she managed to left out the part of her and Draco, but most importantly, Orion didn't need Cepheus Marcellous rummaging through the Malfoy Manor to beat the hell out of Draco Malfoy when it was very clear whose fault it was, but she knew, Cepheus wouldn't accept that.
