Jimin POV
The rest of the visit with my mom at the end of last week had gone extremely well (even if she spent most of her time sharing embarrassing childhood stories). But I was still happy that my mom and Jungkook got along so well. We promised to visit again in a week or two before saying our goodbyes and heading out to lunch.
After a long, tiring day of work I headed out to the parking lot to drive home. While I was originally supposed to have gone back to the station on Tuesday, I ended up not returning until today since Namjoon hyung wanted to make sure I was really okay. I was driving down the road for a while when I got a call from my boyfriend.
"Hey, Kookie~" I answered, switching the call to speaker so I could place my phone on the dashboard.
"Hi, baby! Are you on your way home yet?"
"Yeah, I just left a few minutes ago."
"Oh good. How was your first day back?"
"Eh, alright I guess. I mean it was nice to see everyone again, but desk work is boring!" I pouted, Jungkook chuckling at my response.
"Don't worry, baby. You'll be back in the field in no time," he assured.
"I know... So are you almost finished too?" I asked hopefully.
"Yeah, I'm just waiting for my final client to come in and then I'll be done for the day. It shouldn't take too long though. The design they want is really simple."
"Oh, okay. Are you still coming over tonight?"
"Um, is Iron Man the best superhero?"
"Well that really depends on people's preferences."

"Kookie?"
".........don't talk to me ever again."
"I'm just teasing, babe!"
"..........I hate you."
"No you don't! You love me~"
"Unfortunately..." he grumbled, my eyes widening at his words.
"YAH! What do you mean uNfoRTUnatELy?!"
"Ha! Doesn't feel so good does it?"
"..........I hate you."
"Liar~"
"Anyways! What do you want for dinner you brat?"
"Mmm, whatever you want is fine."
"Okay, I'll see what I've got in the fridge when I get home."
"Alright, bye. Love you!"
"Bye."
"Hey!"
"What?"
"You didn't say it back!"
"So?"
"BABY~~!"
"..........................................Iloveyoutoo," I mumbled before I quickly hung up the phone with a smile.
Time Skip (2 hours)
"Ahh, I can't wait to start exercising again! I swear I've gained like another 2 pounds this week alone..." I groaned to myself as I stared at my reflection in the mirror.
Jungkook and I had just finished eating dinner and I was standing in the bathroom complaining about my figure while he put away the dishes. My frown deepened as I lifted up my shirt, noticing the extra skin on my waist.
