Ares

I stormed into Roman's office looking at him. "What the hell?" he questioned from where he sat. "I told you to get a handle on your sister." I bit out as my men stood guard at the door. "Woah! What's going on?" he stood raising his hands. "Your sister is working with the Pereiras and they kidnapped my mate. She tried to fucking run us off the road." I snapped.

"She—" "Don't you dare say she wouldn't because we both know she would," I told him. "You told me you could control your sister and now she's pulled this," I said. "What happened?" He asked. "Ahsha's missing," I told him. "She couldn't of had anything to do with that," Roman said. I scoffed shaking my head. I tossed the car log at him. He looked at it before looking up at me. "Either you were driving the car that tried to run us off the road or it was your sister," I said.

He shook his head. "I didn't." He said. "I know that because there was footage of you here during the accident," I said leaning on his desk. "That would mean that your sister tried to set you up to take the blame for this," I told him. He looked back at the car log a deep-set frown on his face.

"Where is she?" I said growing annoyed. "I don't know. She asked to borrow one of the cars but that was the other day. I haven't spoken to her since." He said. "Call her and tell her you need to speak with her now," I ordered. He stared at me. "Don't test me, Roman. The only reason I'm even allowing that much is because of our friendship." I explained. "She's my little sister." He said. "Who tried to set you up." I countered. He stared at me a while longer before dialing the number. I stared, watching him closely.

"Olivia you need to come home, now." He said feigning urgency. He met my eyes as he listened to her speak. "Ares is here, and he's pissed." He said. "Ahsha's missing and he seems to think I had something to do with it." He told her. He paused. "Did you take my truck?" He asked. "Because it was involved in a car accident. He thinks I tried to run him off the road. Olivia—" He paused before motioning at me. "Clearly she doesn't know what you're talking about," I said loudly grabbing the phone.

"Ares!" I heard her call. "What?" I spoke. "Roman didn't have the car." She said with what sounded like fear in her voice. "It was his car, and I checked the car log. He was the last one to sign in on that day. Don't try to cover for him." I said with an eye roll. "Ares stops!" She called. "Just—just let me come down and I can explain everything, just please don't hurt Roman." She pleaded. I stood looking at Roman. "Ares?" She questioned. "You have an hour," I said before hanging up. "What are you going to do to her?" Roman asked. "No, you don't get to ask me that. You were given the chance to handle this. You didn't, so now I will." I spoke.

I sat across from Roman as we waited for Olivia to arrive.

45 minutes passed before we heard heavy footsteps approaching. The doors were pushed open as Olivia ran in. "Roman?" She called.

Roman stood walking to his sister. "You tried to set me up." Roman spat. I stood slowly turning to look at Olivia. Before she could even speak to me, I signaled my men to grab her. "Wait—what? What's going on?" She questioned. "What were you thinking?" Roman asked. She stared at him wide-eyed.

"Where is Ahsha?" I asked her. "I-I don't know." She said. "Olivia, stop it. You and I both know he will kill you if anything happens to her." Roman said. "Where is she?" I asked again. "I don't know." She lied.

"Stop lying we know you took my car. We know you signed my name to check it out. Did you not think anyone would put 2 and 2 together and figure out it was you? Stop bullshitting around and just tell us." Roman said to his sister.

"What's so special about her?" Olivia spat. "People end up with people who aren't their mates all the time." She threw out. "Those people lost their mates. They didn't have a choice in the matter." Roman said.
