[Harry POV]

I woke up in the morning to see Ron was up too. We both got ready and made our way downstairs. We entered the great hall and I sat beside Hermione while Ron sat beside Y/N. I felt something weird when Y/N smiled at Ron as he returned the same. I don't know so I shrugged it off and loaded my plate up with food. 

''Good morning'' Y/N greeted us. We both greeted morning together.

 ''Hey Harry. Isn't that Hegwig?'' Hermione asked. I turned to where she was pointing and indeed saw that Hedwig was carrying a gaint parcel that looked like a broom of some sort. I was confused. Who would send me mails? 

''What is that.'' Y/N asked as the package landed on the table. 

''Let's open it.'' I said. We four dug into the parcel and unwrapped it to reveal a broomstick. 

''That's a broomstick.'' I said. 

''That's not just any  broomstick Harry!'' Ron exclaimed. 

''That is the Nimbus 2000!'' Both Y/N and Ron said together. They grinned looking at their syncro.

There was that pang again but I choose to ignore it. 

''But who would send me such a nice gift.'' I wondered. Then I saw Hegwig perched on the table and McGonagall petting her. She looked at me and grinned. I gave her a thankful smile. This was one of the best gifts I have recieved...

We had a pretty normal day that day......

Next Day[Y/N POV]

''Come on Y/N/N! Wake up!'' Hermione whined as she started shaking me violently. I groaned. 

''Ok. I'm up''

 ''It's Halloween!'' She squealed. 

''Let's go we need to go to charms class.'' she continued.

 ''Ugh. fine. Let me get ready.'' She nodded and left. I got ready and met with Hermione in the common room. We went to the great hall and there I met Harry and Ron. 

''Hey Ronny!'' I said as I hit his back. 

''Ouch! Y/N/N don't hit that hard'' He squealed. I laughed as Harry said

 ''Come on. we need to go two Charms class.'' We nodded and left.

''Now, don't forget the nice wrist movement we've been practicing. The swish and flick. Everyone? Swish and flick'' Professor Filtwick. A tiny goblin-man(Idk what he is) I sat beside a Gryffindor named Dean and Harry with Seamus. To both's dismay, Ron and Hermione were paired up. We all decided to do what the professor told and waved our wands. I saw Ron and Hermione arguing about the spell. 

''WINGARDIUM LEVIOSAR'' Ron shouted and he flicked his wand vigorously. 

''No. Stop, stop. You're going to take someoe's eye out! Besides you're saying it wrong. It's LeviOSA not LevioSAR.'' I heard Hermione say bossily. I rolled my eyes and focused on my feather. Before I could reach my wand and say the spell, The feather levitated. I knew I could do hand magic but this was so cool. This was the first time I have done it.
