-[98] Grawpy The Giant-

[Y/N POV]

''You did everything you could. No one could win against that old hag.'' Ron said as we walked across the bridge in the misty evening.

''Even Dumbledore didn't see this coming.'' Hermione added as I sighed.

''Dumbledore did see it coming. But thats not the point. Harry, if it's anyone's fault, it's ours.'' I said as the raven head stopped and looked over the bridge.

''Yeah, we talked you into this.'' Ron added as I nodded.

''Yeah, but I agreed. I tried so hard to help, and all it's done is make things worse. Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore. Because I don't want to play anymore. All it does is make you care too much. And the more you care, the more you have to loose. So maybe it's just better to...'' Harry explained as I frowned.

''To what?'' Hermione asked sternly. Harry turned around meeting her eyes.

''To go it alone.'' He said not even stuttering a little which made my frown even deeper.

''Psst.'' I heard a voice call as we all looked at the direction to see Hagrid there. The giant gestured us to follow him and we did so, confused.

Time Skip

''Any idea where he is taking us?'' Ron asked as we walked through the path of the forbidden forest. The sun had already set and it was dark.

''Hagrid, why can't you just tell us?'' Harry asked the moving man infront of us. Hagrid didn't tell anything till now so we were very confused. We then heard some noise and stopped to see many centuars running infront of us, in a hurry and seeming quite angry.

''I've never see' the centuars so riled. And they're dangerous a' the bes' of times. The Ministry restricts their territory much more, they're gonna have a full unrising o' their 'ands.'' Hagrid explained but we couldn't care less about that.

''Hagrid what's going on?'' I asked sternly as he sighed.

''I'm sorry to be so myterious, you four. I- I wouldn' be bothering you a' all with i', bu'...with Dumbledore gone, I'll likely be getting the sack any day now. And I just couldn't leave withou' telling someone abou' him.'' Hagrid said almost sobbing and we heard huge thuds as we looked up seeing a huge giant. 

Holy mother of Merlin!

''Grawpy? Down here you grea' buffoon.'' Hagrid called as the giant almost crushed us with his hands, but we ducked down at the right time.

''Brough' you some company.'' Hagrid said as the giant looked at us with a smile as he chased us, we being not accoustomed to see giants, back away in fear. The giant stopped when the rope that was bound to him was not able to stretch further making him stay still, making us, sigh in relief.

''I couldn' jus' leave him because...because he's my brother. Well, half-brother really. He's completely harmless, jus' like I said. Little high spiritted, is all.'' Hagrid explained. Hermione back away further, almost tripping when I felt something lift me up. I yelped and Hermione screamed, as I realised that Grawpy had picked us up both.
