[Y/N POV]

''I have to admit, I thought I was gonna miss that last one. I hope Cormac's not taking it too hard. He's got a bit of a thing for you, Hermione. Cormac.'' Ron said chuckling as we all sat in the Gryffindor common room. I had been sitting beside Ron on the sofa while Hermione and Harry were seated on the ground, both reading.

''He's vile.'' Hermione said as I agreed.

''And pathetic.'' I said directly looking at Lavender who waved at Ron, completely ignoring me.

''Have you ever heard of this spell, Sectumsempra?'' Harry asked as he showed Hermione the Potions book as I frowned. Is that still with him?

''No, I haven't. And if you had a shred of self-respect, you'd hand that book in.'' Hermione scolded as Harry got back to his previous position.

''Not bloody likely. He's top of the class. He's even better than you and Y/N/N, Hermione. Slughorn thinks he's a genius.'' Ron retorted as I turned to glare at him.

''What?'' The redhead asked as my glare seemingly grew meaner.

''I'd like to know whose that book was. Let's have a look, Shall we?'' Hermione said getting up to take the book but Harry held it close to his chest.

''No.'' The raven head replied as I got up too.

''Why not?'' Hermione asked as I sneaked upon him from the back.

''The binding is fragile.'' Harry replied as I scoffed silently.

''The binding is fragile!?'' Hermione repeated as I touched the book.

''Yeah.'' Harry said as I scoffed and snatched the book away from him and ran to the other corner. As I opened the first page I could read the lines. It was a familiar handwriting but I couldn't figure it out.

''Who's the Half-Blood Prince?'' I asked as Harry and Hermione approached me.

''Who?'' The brunette asked as I looked into the book again.

''That's what it says right here: 'This book is properrty of the Half-Blood Prince.'' I said as I stared at Harry for answers. When I didn't get any, I threw the book at him as he caught it and walked off awkwardly. Hermione and I shared a glance as I sighed...

Time Skip

''For weeks you carry around this book, practically sleep with it and yet you have no desire to find out who the Half-Blood Prince is?'' Hermione asked as we walked through the snow aound Hogsmeade. It was already winter and let me tell you...

I have missed Harry soo much...

He didn't want to be around us anymore and was always with the book. I felt hurt but a part of me was proud that he was taking his studies seriously...

And I totally WASN'T jealous of a book...
