[Y/N POV]

It was not Midnight but was pretty late. We were headed to the library but stopped when we saw blondie right near the door of theblibrary. I groaned.

 ''Ugh why him?'' I said.

 ''Come on'' Hermione said as we made our way to the entrance. Blondie caught us and hissed

''What are you doing here mudblood. Oh..hello Mrs. Malfoy'' I lunged forward but Hermione held me back.

 ''It's ok Y/N/N. Control.'' she whispered in my ear. 

''Why are you carrying a bag with you?'' he asked (Y/N carried a bag where she had but the lantern and Hermione's mirror.)

''None of your business Blondie!'' I spat bitterly.

 ''You want to be careful around here.'' He said and smirked. He then came closer and closer. I moved back but he pulled me back by grabbing my waist and bloody HUGGING ME!

Ugh..

''Bye Mrs Malfoy..'' He whispered in my ear and left.

 ''Disgusting!'' I said and Hermione rolled her eyes.

 ''Come on! Let's go! we don't wanna waste time.'' she said. I nodded and we entered the library quietly.

 ''Let's look around. One small clue is enough'' I said and Hermione nodded. He parted out ways as I came across the magical beasts section. I examined the book and took it out. I was turning the page when I found there was a tear. A page was torn. 

''Hey..Hermione?'' I called out examining the book.

 ''What'' she asked coming second after. 

''This is the library book right?'' I asked. 

''Yes it is but why are you asking?'' She replied.

 ''It's just that a page from this book is torn.'' I answered.

''Wait really?'' She asked as she took the book from my hands and examined it. 

''Your right!'' she exclaimed.

 ''It should be about the basilisk. I've read this book.'' she said.

 ''The basilisk..The Basilisk! That's it Hermione. You're a genius!'' I exclaimed. I took out my wand and pointed it randomly. A piece of crumpled paper came out from the bad that I was carrying. 

''This is the missing page.'' I whispered. 

''But why was it in this bag?'' Hermione asked.

 ''I don't know..'' I muttered as I opened the page.
