-[85] Second Task-

[Harry POV]

''I'm going to go to bed.'' Ron muttered as he left. I looked at Moody as he kept staring at me. 

''Longbottom! Help Potter here to keep his books back.'' He growled and left the library. Neville approached me and started taking about things that I could not care now. 

''Neville, no offense, but I really don't care about plants. Now, if there is a Tibetan Turnip that'll allow me to breathe underwater for a hour, then great.'' I said cutting him off.

 ''I don't know about a turnip. But you could always use Gillyweed.'' Neville said as I smiled.

Finally..

Time Skip

''Are you sure Neville?'' I asked as we made our way to the boats.

 ''Absolutely.'' He replied. 

''For an hour?'' I asked further. 

''Most likely.'' Neville replied hesitently. 

''Most likely?'' I exclaimed.

 ''Well there is some debate among herbologists as to the effects of fresh water versus salt water but--'' He ranted but I cut him off. 

''You're telling me this now!? You must be joking.'' I said as Ron came up to me and we walked together.

''That makes you a right sight better that Y/N and Hermione. Where are they, anyway?'' I asked as we whipped around looking for the girls. 

''You seem a little tense, Harry.'' Ron said as I grit my teeth.

 ''Do I?'' I asked sarcastically.

Time Skip

''Welcome to the secong task. Last night, something was stolen from each of our champions. A treasure of sorts. These four treasures, one for each champion, now lie on the bottom of the Black lake. In order to win, each champion need only find their treasure and retun to the surface.'' Dumbledore announced as I looked around one more time for Y/N and Hermione. I caught a glimpse of Malfoy looking worried as well, which I rolled my eyes for. But I was yanked by Moody. 

''Put that in your mouth'' He instructed as I did the same. The Gillyweed tasted awful as it went down my throat. The same time the canon went off and the other champions dove into the water while Moody pushed me.

I felt so itchy as I went underwater. A few seconds later I saw that I had grown fins and webbed feet. I grinned and jumped out the water and went to search for my treasure. I swam through the reeds in the lake as I heard a beautiful voice singing. Merpeople. I followed the same and came to an opening where I could make out 4 people floating and the fish like creatures guarding them. I swam further and those four were Hermione, Cho, an unfamiliar blonde girl and Y/N. Oh no. Are they my treasure? I swam towards them as I cupped Y/N's cheeks. 

Her eyes were closed shut and no movement was detected. I looked at the others to see them in the same situation. I swam down to Y/N's feet where she was tied and tried to release the rope. Cedric came at the same time, shot a spell at Cho's rope. He pointed at his watch indicating that there was a little time left as I nodded. I released Y/N and pointed my wand at Hermione's ropes when one of the merpeople pointed their weapon at me.
