-[39] Suspisions-

[Harry POV]

We were in the Gryffindor common room.

 ''Could I have your attention please?'' McGonagall called out. 

''Because of recent events, these new rules will be put into effect immediately: All students will return to their house common rooms by 6 every evening. All students will be escorted to each lesson by a teacher. No exceptions.'' She instructed.

 ''I should tell you this. Unless the culprit behind these attacks is caught...it is likely the school will be closed.'' she finished and left the common room. Soon the room was filled with whispering. All were scared.

''We've got to talk to Hagrid, Ron. I can't believe it's him, but if he did set the monster loose last time, he'll know how to get inside the Chamber of Secrects, and that's a start.'' I said to Ron. 

''But to heard McGonagall. We're not allowed to leave the tower except for class.''

Ron argued. I thought for a while. 

''I think it's time to get my dad's old cloak out again.'' I replied.

Time Skip

It was night time as Ron and I made our way towards Hagrid's hut in my dad's ivisiblity cloak. As we reached, I knocked on the door and Hagrid opened it with a cautious expression and a crossbow in his hand. 

''Hello?'' he called out and we took the cloak off of us and

I exclaimed 

''What's that for?''

 ''Oh, nothing. I was jus' expecting... It doesn' matter. Come on in. I just' made a po' of tea.'' He said seriously. We made our way inside and Hagrid poured our tea into separate cups. His hands were trembling and he accidently overpoured the tea.

''Hagrid, are you okay?'' I asked with concern.

 ''I'm fine. I'm alrigh'.'' he replied. 

''Did you hear about Hermione and Y/N/N?'' I asked.

 ''Oh yeah. I heard abou' tha' alrigh'' He said and I nodded. This was getting very awkward so I decided to rip the band aid off.

Well, here goes nothing...

''Look, we have to ask you something. Do you know who opened The Chamber of Secrets?'' I asked directly. He sighed and began 

''Wha' you have to understand abou' tha' is--'' but he was cut off by someone kocking on the door. 

''Quick. Under the cloak.'' Hagrid instructed and we did it but very confused. He went to open the door and called 

''Oh, Professor Dumbledore sir.'' 

''Good evening Hagrid. I wonder, could we..?'' Dumbledore's voice greeted. 

''Oh course, come in. Come in.'' Hagrid said guiltily. As the two guests entered, Ron whispered indidcating the other man

 ''That's dad's boss, Cornelius Fudge. The minister of magic.'' Soon then Fudge started speaking 

''Bad business Hagrid, very bad business. Had to come. Four attacks, three on muggle borns and one on a half blood(or pureblood...I really don't know) Things have gone far enough. The ministry's got to act.''

 ''But I never--you know I never, Professor.'' Hagrid argued. 

''I want it understood, Cornelius, that Hagrid has my full confidence.'' Dubledore said as Fudge looked disappointed.

 ''Albus look, Hagrid's records are against him. I've got to take him.'' Fudge replied. 

''Take me? Take me where? Not Azkaban prison!'' Hagrid exclaimed.

 ''I'm afraid I have no choice Hagrid.'' The minister said as the door opened again.

The man had Platinum blonde hair which was lond and I recogized him as Lucius Malfoy. ''Already here Fudge? Good.'' He said as he entered the hut. 

''What are you doing here. Get out of my house!'' yelled Hagrid. 

''Believe me, I take absolutely no pressure to be inside your..you call this a house?'' Malfoy said as he came too close for comfort. We moved back and internally sighed. 

''No. I simply called at the school and was told that the headmaster was here.'' Malfoy continued.

 ''Well, what is it exactly that you wnat from me?'' Dumbledore asked.

''The other governors and I have decided it's time for you to step aside. This is an order of suspension.'' Malfoy said as he held a piece of parchment. 

''You'll find all 12 signatures on it.'' He completed and he held the paper for Dumbledore to take. Dumbledore took it as he again spoke 

''I'm afraid that you've rather lost your touch. Well, with all these attacks, there'll be no muggle borns left at Hogwarts. I could only imagine what an awful loss it would be to the school.'' and he smirked. 

''You can't take Professor Dumbledore away. Take him away, and the muggle borns won' stand a chance. You mark my words, there'll be killings next!'' Hagrid yelled. 

''You think so?'' Lucius asked. 

''Calm yourself Hagrid. If the governors desire my removal, I will, of couse, step aside. However...you will find help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it.'' Dumbledore said directly looking at us.

We were in the invisiblity cloak right?

A question.... If a pureblood married a half blood...what will their kid be? Pureblood or halfblood? Please tell me in the comments below...I'm a noob with blood status...
