[Y/N POV]

The quidditch team and us all gathered aroung Harold's bed as Ron spoke up

''He looks a bit peaky, doesn't he?'' he asked.

 ''Peaky?'' I asked.

''What'd you expect?''

''He fell over a 100 feet.'' Fred and George said alterating sentences.

''Well, come on Ronny. Let's walk you off the Astronomy Tower and see what you look like.'' I said sarcastically as Ron palyfully glared at me and the twins.

''Probably a right sight better than he normally does.'' Harry mumbled as we all chuckled and I sighed in relief.

''How are you feeling?'' Hermione asked.

''Oh briliant!'' Harry exclaimed.

''You gave us a right good scare there mate. Y/N/N was--'' George said but I cut him off by slapping my hand over his mouth. Harry looked confused as I gave a forced smile. I then turned towards George and gave him the death glare and he shut up.

''What happened?'' Harry asked.

''Well...you fell off your broom.'' Ron answered.

''Really? I meant the match. Who won?'' Harry asked as I rolled my eyes.

''Um...no one blames you Harry. The dementors aren't supposed to come inside the grounds. Dumbledore was furious. As soon as he saved you and Y/N/N blocked the dementors, he sent them straight off.'' Hermione said hesitantly.

''Well, uh..there's something else you should know too Harry. Um. When you fell, your broom, it-it sort of blew into the Whomping Willow and...well, uh it's...'' Ron hesitated but showed the broken broom to Harold.

''There's no chance of fixing it. We all tried, but...'' I said as I trailed off and sighed. Harry looked so sad and broken. I felt so sad too.

[Harry POV]

''I'm so sorry to hear about your broomstick. Is there no chance of fixing it?'' Professor Lupin asked as we walked through the trees.

''No. Professor, why do the dementors affect me so? I mean, more than anyone else?'' I asked.

''Listen, the dementors are among the foulest to walk on this earth. They feed on every good feeling, every happy memory, until a person is left with absolutely nothing but his worst experience. You are not weak, Harry. The dementors affect you most of all because there are true horrors in your past. Horrors your classmates can scarcely imagine. You have nothing to be ashamed of.'' Professor explained.

''I'm scared professor.'' I said.

''Well, I'd consier you a fool if you weren't.'' Lupin retorted.

''I need to know how to fight them. You could teach me. You and Y/N/N made that dementor on the train go away.''

I argued.

''That was only one night.'' Lupin retorted.

''But you made it go away.'' I mumbled as I saw Hedwig on a branch.

''I don't pretend to be an expert, Harry, even Y/N said that it was her first time in succeeding the spell. But as the dementors seem to have developed a particular interest in you, perhaps I should teach you. Bring Y/N with you too. But after the holidays. For now I need to rest.'' Lupin answered as I pet Hedwig and she flew away.
