-[65] Patronus Charm-

Time Skip [Y/N POV]

As soon as it came, the sooner it went. They weather was a little light now.

 ''Harry, Y/N. There you are. You came.'' Lupin greeted as we entered Lupin's office. I gave a smile and a nod.

 ''Now, are you sure about this Harry? You know this is very advanced magic, well beyond the Oridinary Wizarding Level.'' Lupin asked as I made my way towards the couch which was placed in the room.

 ''I'm sure.'' Harry said but I could hear a bit of uneasiness in his voice. 

''Well, everything's prepared. Now the spell that I'm going to teach you is called the Patronus Charm. Did you ever hear of it?'' Lupin asked coming downstairs. Harry shook his head as a no in response.

 ''No? Well Y/N, would you care to explain?'' Lupin asked me as I gave a small smile. 

''Not at all professor. A patronus is a kind of positive force, and for the wizard who can conjure one, it works something like a shield with the dementor feeding on it rather than feeding on him. You need the happiest memory you can think of to make it work.'' I explained and Lupin grinned at me. 

''Can you do this?'' He asked as Harold nodded. 

''Yes? Very well. Close your eyes. Concentrate. Explore your past. Do you have a memory? Allow it to fill you up. Loose yourself within it. Then, speak the incantation, Expecto Patronum.'' Lupin explained and Harry repeated the chant.

 ''Very good. Shall we? Wand at the ready.'' Lupin istructed as Harry did the same. I looked curiously as Lupin opened a box to reaveal the cloaked figure towering over the raven haired boy.

I bit my lip as he shouted.

 ''Expecto Patronum! Expecto Patronum! Ex-expecto--'' Harry trailed out as he fell limp onto the ground. I widened my eyes as I took my wand out and yelled 

''EXPECTO PATRONUM!'' A silver wisp of light shooted out of my wand and sped towards the dementor that was hovering over Harry. I then struggled but sent it back to the box. Lupin closed it immediately and smiled at me. I panted out and returned the same. 

''You are doing a good progress Y/N. Just a few more tries and you will be able to conjure a full bodied Patronus.''

Lupin said as we made our way toward the unconsious boy. 

''I really am curious to know what animal it might be, Professor.'' I said as I lay Harry's head on my lap. 

''I think I already know it.'' Lupin said. I looked at him shocked.

 ''Really!? What is it?'' I asked excited. Lupin was about to speak but Harry stirred awake as our attention goes towards him. 

''Deep breaths. It's alright. I didn't expect you to do it the first time. That would've been remarkable. Here. Eat this. You'll feel better.'' Lupin said as he handed out the chocolate to Harry and I.

I munched on it as Harry said 

''That's one nasty dementor.'' I chucked as Lupin said 

''Oh no no no no. That was a boggart Harry. A boggart. The real thing could be worse. Much worse. As a matter of interest, what were you thinking?'' Lupin asked.

 ''The first time I rode a broom.''

Harry answered obidiently. 

''Well, that's not good enough. Not nearly good enough.'' Lupin said. Harry sighed.
