[Y/N POV]

Wind blew my hair back as I walked though the empty streets. A bag in my hand was filled with chocolates as I fiddled with it as I stood infront of a very familiar house. I could hear the chitter chatter or muggles all around me as I sighed. It was holidays and my sixth yea at Hogwarts would start soon. 

I let out a deep breath that I was holding in and let my fist hit the old but expensive looking door twice. I silently waited for someone to recieve it from the inside, but kept my head down at all costs. The door finally opened to reveal a woman who had bright pink hair and funky clothes as I sighed.

''Hey Y/N, what are you doing here?'' Tonks asked in a hushed voice as she pulled me inside the Grimmauld Place 12, Sirius' house. I took a shaky breath as I lifted my head and let it out. 

''Remus?'' I asked as she nodded understandingly and led me upstairs to a room which was all too familiar.

''He's been in that room for too long. I'll leave you to it.'' Tonks said as I gave her a small thin lipped smile. She ruffled my hair a little and left the hallway. I sighed as I pushed the door slightly and saw a very scrawny looking Remus seated on the bed with his knees to his chest, staring out of the window.

''May I come in?'' I asked as my godfather's head snapped at my direction.

''Ah Y/N/N, what are you doing here?'' He asked in a raspy voice as I opened the door further and entered the room, sitting beside the man.

''I brought you sweets.'' I said as I handed him the bag. He gave me a forced smile and took one from the bag. 

''Thank you.'' He said in a hushed tone, seemingly to hide his tears for loosing his best friend. 

''In these 2 years I knew him, he had become almost like my father. I would never know how you feel. But let me be a shoulder for you to cry upon. As you goddaughter, that's the least I can do.'' I said as I looked out of the window, observing nothing and tears of my own forming in the corner of my eyes. I then heard a broken sob from the man beside me as he put his head on my shoulder. We both cried our eyes out for the next few minutes.

''Thank you Y/N/N, for being there with me. I was lost.'' Remus sniffled out as I brushed through his sandy hair. I would be lost too if I lost my best friends.

''He was a great man, his innocence was proved. That's what matters. He's in a better place right now.'' I whispered as he nodded.

''He is. I feel so guilty that I doubted him for 12 years and when I have him back, he slips away. Why do everyone I love get away from me? A-am I that b-bad Y/N/N?'' He asked as I rapidly shook my head as I turned to face him.

''Why would you think of yourself like that? I couldn't ask for a better godfather than you. You're one of the reasons I've not gone insane and massacred everyone.'' I said as he smiled.

''We both are similiar in many ways, aren't we?'' He said as I nodded.

''I have to go. I'm going to the Weasley's today and staying there for the rest of my holidays. I wish I could stay here longer but I've promised them I'll come early.'' I said as he smiled.

''Thank you for coming. I feel a lot better now.'' Remus said as he opened the chocolate bar and took a bite out of it. I placed the other chocolate bars on the stand beside the bed as I left, but stopped as I heard Remus call out again.

''Sirius wanted to give you a gift. Since he can't, here I have it.'' He said as he walked over brought a box infront of me. I looked between him and the box confused.
