"Do I know any cannibals?" Chapter 31

"Aaron...I'm not sure of this movie." Lexi states. "I would much rather see a horror."

"Ooh, me to!" Aaron says.

"But Aaron, we decided on this movie together, we've been waiting since ages to watch it." I say, slightly hurt. We had both read the book and were really excited to see the movie.

"I know....but I'd much rather see Mocking jay, maybe we can see TFIOS some other time. Plus, it's two against one. Me and Lexi against you." Aaron says.

I really, actually wanna see TFIOS but Jemma wanted me to be nice to Lexi, so I think I'm succeeding.

Plus, I've read Mocking Jay and It's a phenomenal book.

"Fine! Mocking Jay it is then!" Jemma exclaims, sighing.

"Yes!" Me and Lexi say in unison, high fiving in the process.

I put my hand in front of Jemma. "Shall we?"

"We shall." Lexi says, grabbing hold of my hand....which was intended for Jemma, hopefully she won't mind.

I sighed again as Lexi and Aaron walked in front of me, they were holding hands. I don't know about anyone else but I'm sure that's what couples do.

We walk up to the main desk. "Three tickets for Mocking Jay please." Lexi says eagerly. The tickets are then placed in her hand.

"Aaron, you go and get us some popcorn, we'll stay here." Lexi says.

Aaron shrugs and walks away to get some popcorn, damn it, I was in the mood for peanuts.

"I just wanted to say, stay away from Aaron" Lexi says, a cold glare appearing on her face. "Or else."

Where had I seen or heard that before?

The text.

"It was you...the text?" I ask.

"Bingo." She says, touching my nose as if I'm three. A smile suddenly appears on her face. "Your an angel! Come on Aaron, let's go and see the movie."

Lexi hooks her arms with Aaron and they walk of to the screening room.

"Jemma, aren't you coming?" Aaron asks, looking over his shoulders.

"She's not, she told me that she's feeling a bit sick and she'll meet us at your house." Lexi says.

What on earth.

Okay, I just want to throw that inflatable Bean bag across the Pacific Ocean.

Wait, I have a better idea.

Do I know any cannibals?

Probably not.

"But we have three tickets...I'll get a refund on the third ticket then. See you at my house." Aaron says, walking off with Lexi.

I can't believe this.

I strutted off with Aaron, flicking my hair and smiling eagerly.

My plan had worked marvellously and I've only just begun!

I looked at the Mocking Jay screen and sighed mentally, I don't at all want to watch this movie, in fact it would be the last movie on earth I'd want to see but it fits in with my plan so well I just can't toss away this opportunity.

Me and Aaron took our seats and watched as the advertisements begun to play.

I slammed my bedroom door and started taking my earrings off, they were a pain in the ear.

See what I did there?

My humour is wasted on you.

I wanted to wear something casual for the hang out so I took of my dress and threw it on my chair. I rubbed my sore feet and shook my hair, before throwing it into a messy bun.

I pulled a Adidas T-shirt on and then a purple Nike hoodie. I then put on some baggy trousers.

My head was throbbing so I lay down, massaging my temples.

I closed my eyes, ready to go off on a nap, I was really tired but I was disturbed when my phone vibrated.

I tapped away on my phone and sent the message to Jemma. I hid the phone in my pocket and then grabbed Aaron's arm.

"Aaron...I'm kinda scared." I whispered.

"What? But this is the awesome part!" Aaron exclaimed, rubbing his hands together.

"Please can we go? I'm really hungry." I say.

"Fine, I'm hungry myself. Gimme a sec, I'll text Jemma to get ready so we can all go some place together."

Oh I wasn't having that.

"No, Jemma just told me she has been sick and she can't make it to the hangout too." I say.

"Fine. Let's go then."

I read the message over and over, was Lexi serious?

Hangout has been cancelled, the movie has been cancelled so we are waiting for the information for the next film screening.

And remember my words.

Stay away from Aaron.

I sighed and closed my eyes.

I have nothing to worry about.

Everything will turn alright in the end and if it's not alright...then it's not really the end.
