I sighed, this was the big day, the prom day. Big whoop. Mum actually booked a hairstylist and if you ask me it's a bit over the top I mean come on it's only prom.

I yawned and waited for mum to come banging through the door, alerting me that it is my 'big day'. Seriously though, if this is what's happening for my prom I'm scared to thing of my wedding... not that that's going to happen.

"JEMMA! Wake up now! Today is your big day! It's PROM!" As if I didn't know already. Mum set 6 alarms and wrote it in every single calendar that's in our house.

I grabbed my phone from under my pillow and checked if I had any notifications, it turns out I had a text from an unrecognisable number. I looked at the text and it said:

Stay away from Aaron or else.

I just deleted the message and got up, it's probably from one of Aaron's fangirls. I jumped in the shower and had a wash.

One I was washed and dried I pulled on the gigantic ball gown and heels, carrying my clutch bag. I plopped on my earrings and struggled with the necklace so concluded that my mum would put it on me.

It took me 20 minutes climbing down the stairs, because of my heels and I couldn't be bothered to bend down and pull them off.

When I did finally get down mum screamed "My baby has grown up!" Ha, please I'm still the innocent, immature, Wonderful Jemma. Over stretching? I think not.

"Mum, can you put on my necklace?" I ask, handing it to her.

"Not yet, we need to get your hair styled." Mum says. And as if on cue, the doorbell rings and it's the stylist.

"Heya sweets! You must be Jemma, now we need to get you looking gorgeous!" She says, pulling out a styling kit.

She sits me down in front of a pop up mirror and takes out a straightener. She straightens my hair for 10 minutes and then sprays my hair. She then pulls out a curler and starts curling my hair.

Then after a never ending hour she sprays my hair again and starts applying makeup to my face.

She applies a silver and light purple eyeshadow, followed by some mascara and hot pink lipstick.
She then applies a light shade of pink blusher on my cheeks.

"Done! She now looks fabulous!" Linda says.
She spins my chair around, revealing my face and hair to my mum. A tear slips down her cheek.

Whaaaat.

"My little girl!"

I roll my eyes as mum hands Linda £100, totally over the top. As she leaves the doorbell rings again and standing there is Aaron.

My mum walks him in after ten hugs and them he spots me. A gleaming smile sets on his face. "Wow, Jemma you actually look beautiful. The person who did it must be a miracle worker."

"Oh ha ha." I say, right after mum puts something in his hand. He smiles and walks up to me.

He then puts my necklace on me, whispering in my ear. "Your a star."

I smile and then stand up.
"Right. Stand next to each other I want a picture." Mum says, revealing a camera.

Aaron puts his arm around me and mum takes a picture.

**Clueless**

"If you want I can just ignore them and push them away, it's no bother." Aaron suggests and I shake my head.

🔱Aaron🔱

"No, just be nice to them." Jemma responds and I have to say I am quite surprised at her response.

"Are you sure?" I ask, to which she replies with a nod. "Okay then. Come on princess, let's go to the royal ball."

I open her door for her and we jump out of my car. I am instantly greeted by a dozen of girls and I remember Jemma's words Be nice to them so I will.
