Kind of a short chapter but here it is! I hope you enjoy
"So, what is this, a year, month anniversary?" Lexi asks, sitting perched on the chair that lies in between me and Aaron.
"A month, gosh, time flies!" Aaron chuckles as the waiter approaches.
"Are you ready to order? And may I add, you two look a glorious couple." He says, looking directly at Lexi and Aaron. "Your sister, I presume?" He asks, now looking at me.
That does it.
"Listen up, snoopy. Aaron over there is MY date so go and get your facts straight you pile of bird seed!" I exclaim. "Now, I will take a fries combo with a soft drink and I want it pronto! Meanwhile that blonde bimbo over there will have a salad and Aaron will take a chicken curry. Chop chop." I order, sitting back down in my seat.
The waiter scurries off when Aaron and Lexi's mouths are wide open.
"How....how did you know what we were going to order?"
I scan Lexi and then shrug. "Just a hunch popkins."
**Clueless**
I smile at mums question, it was expected.
"It went fine, only everyone kept thinking I was Lexi's sister and that Lexi and Aaron were a couple, not only that but they played along with it and the worst of all was that my food was cold! What kind of tacky restaurant was that?!? I will be complaining. If Jemma Newman wants piping hot vishiswa then that's what I'll get!" I announce.
"Vishiswa is cold soup." Mum adds.
"Not after I'm done with it!" I say. "Anyway, call me...whatever it is you call me but I am extremely mature and can handle this however it is giving me a migraine so I'm just going to take a nap." I walk out the room and up to mine, clutching my ted and turning off the light.
**Clueless**
"Jemma, it's okay! It's just a dream. God, all this is too much. Are you sure you don't want to move?"
"Positive mum."
**Clueless**
I walk into a cubicle and sit on the toilet, about to do something very, very....professional. That's right, I've got some business to take care of.
I then hear the clatter of some heels and a very familiar voice.
"My plan has gone to plan! Oh, nearly half the school will have seen this tweet. Jemma Newman is finished. And soon Mr Wright will be with Mrs Right!" I hear Lexi say, she then hangs up her phone call and walks out.
Oh, sorry honey but Mr Wright is already with Miss Right.
Let ze games begin.
**Clueless**
Oh god, let them end.
I walk silently past the corridor, with my head down when I hear various laughs.
"Is that Jemma? Oh my god she is such a brat!"
"What a loser."
"What did Aaron ever see in her?"
I run to the girls bathroom, where thankfully I see Lily and Courtney.
"Oh Jemma! Poor you! What did we tell you? You shouldn't have gone on that dinner." They say in unison.
"I know, you were right! Where's Aaron? Has he said anything?" I ask, tearful.
"Umm, he just alerted us that he needed some space and that he's trying to find you." Lily shrugs. Oh god, I'm having a Taylor moment.
When you said you needed space
"God, I can't do this." I say, I unzip my pocket and clutch my phone within my grasp. Dialling Mum. She answers instantly and I feel like I've been rescued.
**Clueless**
"What did your mum say?" Courtney asks.
"She asked if I wanted to move." I reply.
"What did you say." Lily asks.
"I....I kinda....said yes."
