"Oh my good, Lily that's great news! Jem, did you hear what Lily said?" Courtney exclaimed, shaking me.

"What? Yes, she er, she said...stuff. Yes, that's what she said, stuff." I yawn, wagging my finger at Courtney. "Can I go back to sleeping, it is free period, it was made for sleeping." I say, closing my eyes.

"No! You can't!" Courtney says, woah, what an ego on this one- did I use that right? Oh well, I guess we'll never know. "Lily, tell Jemma."

Lily sighed and opened her mouth to start but then closed it, like a goldfish. I miss Alfie, he was a good fish, god rest his soul. "Zac asked me to go to prom. And I accepted." She exclaimed.

I suddenly woke, this news hit me, hard and I don't know why. Could I be...nah.

"Great. Can I go back to sleep now?" I replied but I didn't feel the slightest bit sleepy.

**Clueless**
"I'm so going to try out for that, who knew that there was a drama club? Plus, this school play looks pretty good." I say, looking at the poster before me.

"You do know who's the main judge for auditions, don't you? Aaron, Aaron Wright." Ryan says, as we walk to science.

"Who cares? Yeah, I may have started a war with him but who cares about that, I doubt he remembers." I say confidently, though was feeling queasy after hearing this news.

Ryan opened the classroom door and let me go inside first, I gave him a soft smile and he returned it. Now, If Aaron could take a leaf out of Ryan's book, we might get somewhere with manners.

**Clueless**

"Who knew so many people would show up to audition?" I say, looking at the massive que.
"Oh please, they're just here to catch a glimpse of Aaron, I'm sure of it." Lily says, looking at her nails like they're the most fascinating thing in the world. She's come to support me.

"Thanks for coming, Lily." I say, giving her a warming smile.

"What are friends for? By the way, Liam is having a slumber party next week, Saturday. Just for his friends and you're invited, before you object, hear me out. I'm going and so is Courtney and it would be no fun without you. If not for Liam then please for us." Lily says, looking up from her nails.

"Fine." I don't know what came over me. Lily handed me my invite and I signed it. "Who else is going?" I ask, looking at my nails, they actually are quite fascinating how...Lily interrupted my reverie by saying the one word I did not want I hear.

"Come again?" I say.

"Aaron, why are you surprised? They are close friends you know. So it's going to be me, you, Courtney, Zac, Ryan and Aaron."

Aaron, no no no no no.

"Too late, you've signed it now. I know, I know, I know for sure, everybody wanna steal my girl..." She said, starting to sing, she's probably bored.

Maybe I should start singing.

We're only getting older baby and I've been thinking about it lately, does it ever drive you crazy, just how fast the night changes...

"Jem! Your next." It's day and that changed fast, considering there was a que the size of the great wall.

What..why...NOODLES! Oh, I'm next.

I walked into the audition room, smiling, thinking about one direction, but my eyes narrow at the sight of Aaron.

"Ok, what's your name...oh, your the girl that declared war with...The name is Ian, I have to admire your bravery, no-one could do that to A-"

The Ian guy gets interrupted by Aaron.

"Let's stay on topic. Ok, Jemma, first show us your acting skills and then sing a song of your choice." He says, icly.

I take the script that Ian hands to me and start following it.
"Well, I'm going to bed before one of you finds another stupid way to get us killed, or worse, expelled. Books, cleverness, there are more important things; friendship and bravery. Just because you have the emotional range of a teaspoon, doesn't mean we all have. "

I took a deep breath before I started singing- what song? Ah, I've got an idea.

"Santa tell me if your really there, don't make me fall in love again if he won't be here next year, Santa tell me if he really cares because I can't give it all away if he won't be here next year. Feeling Christmas all around and I'm trying to play it cool, but it's hard to focus when I see him walking across the room, the snow is blasting out but I won't get in the mood, I'm avoiding every mistletoe until I know it's true love, that he thinks of and next Christmas I'm not all alone, boy. Santa tell me if he really cares..." I just sang and sang, the words flowing right out of my mouth. When it got near the end I closed my eyes to concentrate on my vocals. "Oooooh baaaaabyyyyyy, if he won't be, if he won't be here. Ooooh, Santa tell me if he won't be here next year..."
**Clueless**

Ian and some other judges stood up clapping, I blushed a deep shade of red, I knew I was good but I didn't know I was standing ovation good.

The only person who stayed seated was Aaron, but I expected that from him. "You'll find out if you got a casting in the musical in Fridays assembly, and that is highly likely." Ian said, still clapping. Aaron coughed and I rolled my eyes. "Ignore him, he's jealous he hasn't got skills like you."

Aaron's eyes widened and I left the room giggling.

Woah, I giggled?

Damn it, I feel like nachos.

Holy mother of a wheelbarrow.

I just realised.

My life has ended.

Why? You ask?

I forgot my lunch.
