I walk out the door and greet Aaron with a smile.
"Hey." I say, getting into Aaron's car. "How is your mum?"
"Same, the doctors say that she only has a couple of months to live." Aaron says, which completely wipes the smile off my face.
"Oh Aaron." I say. Aaron just smiles though.
"Do your seat belt." He responds.
I do as I'm told and Aaron starts the car.
No. Why am I doing what I'm told.
I take off my seatbelt and then do it again, for my own needs.
"Where are we going?" I ask, turning the radio on. Justin Bieber instantly plays and I turn it off immediately.
Aaron chuckles to himself and doesn't say a word, I'm still curious to where were going though...very curious.
Aaron then stops the car and opens my door for me, it somehow reminds me of when he slammed the door on me even though these are complete opposite moments.
I take in my surroundings and realise we are in the que, for Nandos. I love Nandos.
When we are finally first a waitress hands me and Aaron a menu and Aaron pleads for a colouring sheet too.
I take all the crayons to myself and start colouring in.
"Hey! No fair." Aaron whines, Jee such a baby.
"Stuff it. Now, are chips orange or yellow?" I ask, sticking my tongue out and being careful not to go out of the lines.
Aaron is about to respond when our lunch is here, even I throw the crayons to the other side of the room. Food comes first man.
We tuck into our peri peri chicken and I wolf down some spicy rice. When me and Aaron are full, he asks for a blank piece of paper.
What is he doing.
I got a blank space baby and I'll write your name.
Sorry I had to.
Aaron then picks up the red crayon and starts drawing.
What in the name of a goose.
He then puts the paper face down on the table and heads to the toilets. Okay, what is going on?
I pick up the paper and in the most messy, wobbly handwriting it says
Will you be my...er you know....girlfriend?
Ha! I pranked you.
No...I'm not joking this time.
Okay I need to seriously think about this.
🔱 Aaron 🔱
What was I thinking, she is probably going to reject me.
Wait, I wasn't thinking because I obviously shouldn't have done what I've done.
I wash my face and walk towards the table we were sat...Jemma isn't there anymore.
God I flipping called it, not only have I been rejected but our friendship has been tarnished and you know what makes it worse? The performance is tonight.
I run a hand through my hair and turn to leave, I then remember I need to pay the bill so I go to the counter and take the money out of my pocket.
"Sir, there is no need for that. A Miss. Newman has paid already."
This is just messed up.
"Refund her and take this." I say, handing him the money. He nods and I walk out the door.
**Clueless**
I straighten my jacket and walk on stage, seeing Jemma right before me.
The music starts.
So, I start. "We're souring, flying there's not a star in heaven that we can't reach."
"If we're trying then we're breaking free." She sings.
"You know the world can see us, in a way that's different then who we are." I sing.
"Creating space between us, until we're separate hearts." She sings, getting confident.
"Words of faith can give me strength, strength to believe! We're souring! Flying! There's not a star in heaven that we can't reach!" We both sing, harmonizing. Someone call us fifth harmony because-
No Aaron, no.
"If we're trying."
"Then we're breaking free."
"Running!"
"Climbing!"
"To get to the space that makes all that we can be!"
"Nows the time, oh we're breaking free!" We end and then Jemma looks at me and I look at her.
"I accept." She says.
I feel like we just got married.
And that feels weird.
The whole crowd bursts into claps, heck even the teachers.
Okay, we are not at the end yet!
Normally, there would only be 5 chapters left and that was what I was going to do but I was practically hypnotized by- mentioning no names *cough cough* @Candycrush413 to extend it so we are finishing on chapter 40. So, you can hate her for this terrible book to continue a little longer.
Until the next update!
