"Big deal, you sang to me! That's something you see everyday..." I lie.

Aaron was trying to explain from his point of view but I wouldn't let him, who says he's not lying plus I've already moved on, it's too late.

"But Jemma, you don't realise! Remember from the first time we saw Lex-" Aaron starts but I cut him off, not wanting to hear it.

"I don't wanna hear about that stone hearted, vile...cockroach." I say.

Just then my mum barges in my room.

"I can hear everything from downstairs, Jemma, you need to hear everything."

Wow, really mum?

"Well, I'm not listening to anything."

I leave the house, frustrated and decide I need a walk. I walk around, trying to find the closest newsagents, though as I know nothing about this neighbourhood I wasn't in luck.

I walk around the corner from Jemma's house and rest on someone's fence.

Jemma must have been hurt to have moved, but there's nothing I can do about it and it's not as if she's going to believe me.

I look around from where I'm standing and notice I'm the only one outside.

My eyes flicker then to my phone which is vibrating like mad, I answer the phone, instantly regretting it.

"Hey Aaron babe! Where are you?" Lexi says.

"You do know there is nothing between us, right?" I answer, coldly.

Jemma must have gotten to him.
Well not for long.

"Of course! We are just friends." I reply.

"Good." He hangs up.

I sigh and bite my lip, I need to do something about this.

I scroll through my contacts and find the perfect person.

"Alright. Who told?" I say, peering my eyes at my laptop.

Everyone chorused a no except Ryan.

Oh Ryan.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to he just was....sorry!"

I sigh and roll my eyes.

"Whatever, it's not as if I'm gonna let him get to me or anything." I reply, firmly.

"Maybe you should listen to him.." Lily says and I send a glare her way.

"Not you too." I respond. "Guys, he hurt me and I'm not giving him a chance to repeat that."

I tap on the fence and sigh, I need to do something.

I put in my headphones and distract myself when I see a young, good looking boy heading towards Jemma's house.

"Excuse me, but who are you?" I ask as he flips his hair.

"Carson. Adrian, Carson." He replies, smirking.

"Where are you heading?" I ask.

He points to Jemma's house. "I hear a fine young lady has moved in, best make a move on her, eh?" He replies.

"Yeah well I hear she's taken." I reply.

"No. Word on the street is the guy was a jerk and she wants nothing to do with him plus she could do with someone showing her a little love." he says, winking.

"Well, back off. Give her some time." I reply.

"Oh yeah and are you gonna stop me?" He asks.

"You wouldn't see it coming."

He throws a punch to my face which I block. I do a uppercut and make his nose bleed before kicking him where it hurts.
"Back OFF." I shout.

I'm so childish.

He whimpers away and from the corner of my eye I see a blonde helping Adrian up and scolding him.

I shake my head and turn around, trying to distract myself, my hands leaning on the fence in front of me.

I then look up and notice the house is on rent.

I back away from my window.
He didn't do all that for me, right?

For the love of pancakes, I wish I had some sort of sign or anything!

I shake my head and start unpacking my stuff, I need to get a start anyway.

Mum then rushed into my room.

"Jemma! The college nearby has accepted you! You'll start next month!" I smile at mum, well at least there is some good to come from this. I then hear a knock on my door and shout come in.

It's Aaron.

"Get out." I say.

"I know you don't want to listen to me but you have to. I'm renting the house around the corner."

Say WHAT.

"Aaron honey that's taking it to far." Mum says and I rapidly nod my head.

"It's not, you moved houses so why can't I? Plus I was going to move and live on my own anyway and as this is near a college I thought why not?' I just stood there, starstruck.

"We will have to have a leaving party now, won't we?"

Okay so I know that chapter is rubbish but tis the summer holidays and I am in lazy mode. Sorry!
