Chapter 55

Lunox’s Point of View

“Black Section’s building,” I read the sign. Black Section has its own building. We were separated from others.

“Black Section’s privilege,” I shook my head. I stepped forward. As I enter, I can’t hear any noise. The only sound is our own footsteps. The place is eerie. The breeze of the air got cold. I placed my hands inside my pocket. Then, someone place a jacket on my shoulders.

“Who told you to wear our uniform instead of casual clothes?” asked Gusion.

“Hmp. It’s a costume!” I stated and wore the jacket properly. He chuckled.

“Guys, I have a bad feeling about this,” said Roger. We all looked at him. We trust his intuition. “Something unexpected will happen tonight,” he added. Lancelot placed his arms across his shoulder. “Isn’t this unexpected already?” He asked and smirked. He’s trying to enlighten the mood.

“We’ll get out of this alive. I have faith in Leo,” said Lancelot. Then, we all smiled. He’s correct. If it’s Leomord, he can.

“Lance is correct. It’s Leo we’re talking about,” I said.

“Well, my love agreed then Lu, then I agree too! We’re in this together,” said Odette. I felt someone staring me intensely. I glanced to the right side and saw Gusion.

“What are you looking at?” He just stared at me.

“You’re creeping me out, Gus,” I stated. He avoids his gaze and goes straight ahead.

“You two have gotten closer, haven’t you?” He asked.

“Who?”

“You and Leo,” I walked beside him and turned my head to look at him.

“Yes! I just found out that he’s my childhood friend. Also, he saved my life once,” I told him.

“Good for you,” he walked faster so I was left behind. He left me confused with his actions.

“What was that all of a sudden?” I mumbled. Then, I heard them laughing quietly. I looked at them and glared. Odette left Lancelot and went beside me.

“He’s jelly,” she said.

“Do you mean that he’s jealous?!” She nodded. He’s jealous between me and Leomord! I am such a slowpoke to notice. There’s nothing going between me and Leomord. I felt that my face is burning when I remembered our kiss in the library. I tapped both of my cheek. “Don’t think of naughty thoughts.”

“But you have to decide, Lu,” Ruby suddenly appeared on my left side. Ruby is on my left side while Odette is on my right side. I can conclude that I’m in a hotseat.

“No! When it comes to love, don’t make rush decisions. It should be taken slowly by slowly. Let Lu take her time before she decides. When she’s sure of her decision, that’s the time,” said Odette.

“Okay, love expert,” replied Ruby. I shook my head.

“Sad to say but I don’t—"

“—have time for love,” they continued. I nodded. It’s better that they knew.

“Ladies, please hurry up. Look at our distance. If you want to chat, do it some other time,” said Lancelot. Odette pouted. “We’re just having little fun time,” she mumbled. We walked faster and caught up to them.

“Before we meet Leo and the others, can I have some time alone with her?” Gusion is in front of us. The two of them elbowed me and smiled. Ruby pushed me towards him. It was too sudden that I can’t balance my weight. He caught me and I crashed on his chest.
