Lunox’s Point of View
I stayed in the library for an hour. I have to compose myself so that when I encounter him, I can act normal. I looked around. The books are scattered everywhere. Maybe I should clean the library and placed the scattered books back in the shelf.
I stand up. Time for some cleaning! I carried the pile of books and putted them back in place. I sneezed because of the dust. This needs general cleaning! Putting them back in the shelf won’t do. If I want it to be squeaky clean, I have to clean it properly. I need rag, feather duster, gloves and mask. So, I left the library.
“Brother! Where are you?” I yelled. I went to the sala but he’s not there. “Where the hell is he? I’ll just find the cleaning materials by myself,” I’m not sure if I can find the materials in that specific room. I went there.
“I think this is where they keep the materials,” I said and opened the door.
“I’m right!” I exclaimed and clapped my hands. I get the materials I needed. “Three rags, feather duster, gloves, and mask. I found them all here,” I said.
“Come to think of it, this is my first time to clean voluntarily,” I added. I giggled. “This is a good change,” I stated and smiled. I can feel that I’m changing for the better. Many things happened this year, there’s good and bad events but I have met good people. I have gained trustworthy friends and I’m feeling better. The pain I’ve been keeping all this time is slowly fading and it’s because of them.
“I only need mask. However, why is it up there!” I pointed it. The placement of the mask is way out of my reach. I tried to jump but I can’t still reach it. The boxes caught my attention. An idea popped on my mind. I stacked the boxes. This height is enough. I can get the mask now. I stepped on the boxes.
“Dvmn. Am I short for my age?” I asked myself. I tiptoed more and reached the mask.
“A little more push,” I mumbled. I tried to reach the mask. Then, the boxes started to shake. “Uh oh,” I reacted. I have to balance my body or else I’ll fall but I was too late. The stacked boxes crashed. Oh no! I’ll fall. I can’t just let myself fall. While I was thinking of a plan to save myself, someone wrapped his arms around my waist.
“Caught you,” he whispered. I saw Leomord. “But you’re heavy,” he added and we still fell on the ground. I was on top of Leomord’s body. I didn’t feel any pain because of him. I checked him.
“Yah! Why did you have to catch me in that way!” I said but his eyes were still close. I tapped his cheek. “Don’t scare me, Leo! This isn’t funny!” I said. I tapped his cheek once more but he’s not opening his eyes. Then, I saw red liquid on the ground under his head. I felt nervous.
“You should have let me fall on my own! Who told you to catch me? You’re so stupid!” I yelled. “You wouldn’t be hurt if it wasn’t for me…” I added and laid my head on his chest.
“I’ll go call a doctor,” I said and was about to stand up when he hugged me.
“Are you crying?” He asked. I looked at him. “You scared me!” I exclaimed. He touched my face and wiped the tears. “Sorry for scaring you,” he stated.
“Let me go now, I’ll call a doctor!” I said.
“No need,” he replied and just hugged me.
