Lunox's Point of View

"About your friends..." I glared at my brother. "Don't mention them please." He patted my head and messed my hair. "Big bro!" I complained. I fixed my messy hair. "I'm glad you've made friends," he said.

"They're not my friends."

"Keep them, Lunox. It's a great idea that I let you transfer at Pedelton High School," he said. If only you knew the reason.

"If I found out I was called out to your school because you caused trouble, you'll be punished. I'll cut your allowance and you're grounded for one month. Lunox, you should graduate high school. You know what I mean. Don't make this difficult for the both of us." He bent down and kissed my forehead. Ling...

"Enjoy your high school life. I got work to do. Excuse me," said brother. He was about to leave when I grabbed his shirt. "Do you really have to go?"

"I'm doing this for us. You've suffered enough. I promised to mom and dad, I'll protect you. I want to see more of your smiles. I want to see my little sister way back when our parents were still alive," he said. But that little sister of yours is dead. He wore his cap and jacket. "I'll be back after 3 days. Take care of yourself. Update me always. Always locked the door—"

"Don't talk to strangers. Prepare Vivi his food. Don't cause trouble, behave," I continued. "Right," he agreed.

After he left, I lied down to the couch. I reached the remote and opened the television.

"Looks like we'll experience a heavy rainfall this weekend. Remember to bring your umbrellas..."

It will rain anytime soon. When my brother drove me home. It's cloudy and windy.

I felt somebody's licking my fingers. I looked down and saw Vivi. "My baby..." I said. I sat and carried her. "Did you miss, mommy? Daddy went to work and I know you miss him already. By the time being, mom will take care of you, okay?" I said. He licked my face. "I guess you're hungry because I am also. Let's eat now."

I went to the kitchen. I took Vivi's dogfood and his bowl. I also get my own food. "Bon appétit!" I said and ate my food.

After I eat, I went to my room and because I'm home alone, I let Vivi sleep in my room. Actually, Vivi has his own room, because he's also a part of our family. He's the reason why I chose to keep living, he shed light on my dark life. "Goodnight, Vivi," I said. He barked. I closed the lights and opened the dim light. I lied down to my bed. It didn't take long as I let myself be swallowed by darkness.

"You're really pretty, Lulu."

"Also, very smart. We're lucky to have a friend like you." I smiled sweetly. "Thank you! I'm also lucky to have the both of you as my friends. I'm excited to show mom and dad my scores." I excitedly said.

"You mostly got perfect scores in our exams. Your family will be very proud of you, Lulu. I hope I'm you." I looked at her. Smooth skin, round eyes, pointy nose, straight hair and baby face. She's Zandra, my best friend number one! "Don't be sad, Zandy. We'll have a group study next time. I'm pretty sure you'll going to get almost perfect scores just like mine." Trying to cheer her up. Her gloomy face turned into a happy face. She smiled at me. "Thank you, Lulu! Best friends for life." And hugged me.

"Group hug!" She shouted and also hugged us. "A-Aw, Xia. Your hug's too tight," I said. "Oops, sorry!" She apologized and formed her hand into a peace sign. Xianna, my best friend number two! She's a little bit tomboyish. She's clumsy, she doesn't listen and always causing trouble, but she's a good friend.
