Lunox’s Point of View
I went to our cabin. I packed my things. After all is set, I came out of the cabin. I proceed to the bus. When I got there, all of them are inside the bus. It looked like that I’m last person they’re waiting for. I hopped in.
“What took you so long?” asked Ruby.
“Girls… Tsk, tsk,” I heard Lancelot commented. I glared at him.
“Shvt. She heard it,” he mumbled. He formed his hand into a peace sign. Our bus isn’t the party bus like the last time. It’s the usual bus. In a normal bus, I like to sit on the middle corner beside the window. However, my favorite spot is all occupied. Somebody already sat there. I looked at Leomord. There’s only one empty who meets the requirements of my said favorite spot. It was beside Leomord’s seat.
I walked towards to him. He’s reading a book. It seemed familiar. I somewhat recognize that book before. It is the book that Gusion recommended to him. “He’s right. I’ll enjoy reading this one. He knows what I like and dislike. It’s a good book,” he said. I just noticed that he’s wearing glasses. He removed his eyeglasses and glanced at me. I was stunned. He looked smart when he’s wearing glass and when he removed it, he has an aura of a bad boy.
He smiled in a cheeky way. He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him. Shvt. I should be careful when I’m with him. I don’t want to fall on his arms. I stopped myself from falling and held the chair but I can’t escape his gaze. He looked at me. He held my chin and raised it. “Don’t just stand there,” he said in a raspy voice. “Sit…” He whispered. His face came closer and reached my ear. “With me,” he said and blew my ear. It tickles.
He lets me go. He stands. He touched my shoulders and made me sit beside him. “You’re not saying something so I take your silence as a yes,” he said. Then, he crossed his arms and wore his eyeglasses. He continued to read the book. “I reserved this seat for you in purpose because your brother told me that your favorite spot in the bus is in the middle corner beside the window,” he stated. I glanced at brother. He looked away. “Traitor!” I mumbled and gritted my teeth.
I looked at the book he’s reading. “Hell University by KnightInBlack?” I read. “Yeah but it is written in different language. Still, it’s a good book. I like the character of the female lead, Zein. She reminds me of certain someone but stronger, wiser and fiercer,” he said and glanced at me. “You’re looking at me,” I stated. I stared at him blankly. He closed the book. He drew closer. “It reminds me of you,” he said. I was stunned. His sweet words are too much for me to handle! This guy… He’s an expert at flirting. I bet he had many exes. I looked away.
“Stop playing with me. I’m not a toy. I won’t be fooled again. I learned from Gusion and it won’t happen again,” I said and flicked his forehead. I stared at the view outside the window. The bus engine started running. I smiled. “Wait for me, Sir Franco…” I whispered to myself. My thoughts were cut when a pillow was put in my neck.
“You’ll get a stiff neck. Wear it. It’s mine,” he said. “I know that you haven’t move on towards Gusion. After all, you and Gusion’s feelings are mutual. Let’s take it slowly by slowly, shall we?” He asked.
“If you really do love me, why did you let me and him became close? Aren’t you jealous?” I asked.
“I didn’t stop you because I know you’re still mine in the end,” he said while reading the book. “After all, we promised,” he added. Promise? When?
“Rest. Save your strength. I’ll wake you up,” he said. I yawned. “Okay,” I replied. I leaned on the pillow and closed my eyes.
“Don’t hurt him!” I said and blocked myself to protect him. I looked at the boy behind me. I gave him a reassuring smile.
