Lunox's Point of View

"Now that a dirt has been cleaned. Let's go back to our topic," he said. Now I know why my classmates acknowledge him. I should be careful when I'm with him.

"All people are wary of Black Section. If they knew you're connected, they'll change their attitude towards you. I knew you've already experienced this." Yes. I do. It's my first day here in Pedelton High School, when I introduced myself as being the student of Black Section, the teacher's behavior towards me changed.

"Your only ally here is Black Section and that also includes me. Black Section isn't just a section. It's a home, a family. Now that you've become one of my students. This will become your other home, another family. The school director explained your circumstance. You've been kicked out of your previous school because you almost killed your classmate." I shrugged. It's not a lie. It's real. Actually, I planned that. I purposely let myself be kick-out, I don't want to make a story, a lie, that will just put my life at risk.

"The school director also explained you're a special case. He lets you transfer in Black Section for a purpose. I asked him what purpose but he kept his mouth shut. He said that it's for your own sake and the class." For my own sake and the class? The old man sure knew how to talk.

"Not only that, you should be a college student by now but because you insisted on staying as a grade 12 student and threatened them, you're still a high school student until now. Truthfully, you're a pain in the a$s." He said. I pouted. "I've investigated you. I wanted to be sure that incident will not happen again. You're Lunox Radcliffe. You have one brother. You lost your parents at the age of seven. Your father's brother adopted you and you're in his care. I know for sure, you're not one of them. You're a part of Black Section now. It's not because of the information I had but also, I can sense it. My guts keep telling me you're a family. Welcome to the family. Welcome to Black Section." He stood up and extended his arms. I innocently looked at him. Does he mean I should give him a hug? I looked away. "I don't randomly hug someone."

"Oho. You're a shy one." He went near at me and gave me a hug. It's warm...

I came back to my senses and pushed him. "I have a question. If you trust me now. How can I gain my classmate's trust?"

"About that, I'll tell them. They will somehow listen to me?" I glared at him. "You're not sure?" He scratched his head. He's not sure.

"I think we're done. If you have more questions, feel free to come by here anytime," said Sir Franco. "I'll take you back," he added.

"Lu!" Selena and Pharsa both greeted me. They run towards me and hugged me. "We're worried about you," said Selena. "We thought something happened," added Pharsa.

"I'm fine. Look. And I'm with Sir Franco, nothing bad will happen to me if I'm with him." They looked at Sir Franco and bowed at him. "Sir! Thank you for taking good care of Lulu," thanked Selena. Sir Franco patted my head. "She's one of my students. It's my duty to take care of my students." Their eyes widened. "Sir... You mentioned that she's one of your students," stated Selena.

"It means that Lunox is officially a student of Black Section!" Pharsa said. "Isn't that good news?" Selene asked.

"Now then, I shall leave Lunox in your hands. I still have a work to do. Lunox, don't worry about that matter. I'll take care of it," said Mr. Franco and left. He called me by my first name, not Ms. Radcliffe. Does it mean he trusts me now? Oh well. That's great. First step succeeded. Unto the second step, have an authority. The information I gathered wasn't enough. My goal is still far away. This is only the beginning.

"Let's cut our class and go to a mall!" Pharsa announced. Selena agreed with her and I have no choice but to agree too. It's a great way to calm my mind after what happened earlier.

We went to SM, the largest mall in our city and one of the well-known malls in our country. "Look at that dress," pointed Pharsa at the dress.

"It's cute, but not my style. Phars, you'll look better if you choose a darker color. This type of color will suit more on Lu," advised Selena. They both looked at me. "What?" I asked. I won't buy that one. I won't waste my money on this dress and it's worth 11 dollars, no way.

And I take back what I've said. These two, geez. One is enough. I've had enough with Selena but two of her now? Headache. "Really, you guys? I told you I don't want to spend my money on buying this dress," I complained. "But you bought it anyway," teased Pharsa. I rolled my eyes. We played in arcade, bought lots of stuffs, ate in a restaurant, and went on a shopping spree. When's the last time I spend, laugh together with the same gender and age? It feels like when I was in elementary, this feeling when I'm with my friends. Friends. Yes, they're my friends.

I guess having friends is okay. I'm still a teenager. I should live my life to the fullest, this is the only time I will experience this. I looked at them, their genuine smile, their laughs. They're different, unique. They are not the type of people who will backstab someone, and somehow, they're just like me. They have a terrible past that they wanted to forget, a past they'll remember for the rest of their lives. They must feel that I've become silent. "You okay? Are you tired, Lu? We can rest for awhile. It's your fault, Sele! You walk like a mad man." "Huh? What are you talking about, Phars? I walk like a queen. Let's rest on that bench," suggested Selena. We went on the bench and sat.

"I just realize that having friends is fun," I said. "What got into you today, Lu? Are you sick?" asked Selena and touched my forehead. "I just remembered my friends in elementary. My friends whom I thought will stay, left me. They suddenly vanished when I needed them." I told them. Selena held my hand. "Lu, I know we've only met but you're already special to me. I don't care about your past. All I care is you, the Lunox I know today. Nothing will change between us whatever will happen or whatever I'll know. You know why? Because I'm your friend, we are your friends," said Selena. "She's right, Lu. I just became your friends today but I befriended you because there's something within you, something that makes you a great person. Sele's right, whatever your past is, we don't care. If there's a situation where in you're having a difficult time, tell us. We won't leave you; we'll stay beside you no matter what because that's what friends is. Besides, Black Section is not just a section, it's a family. We're not only your friends but sisters too," added Pharsa. Mom, dad... look. I've made friends again. I hope, I hope...

No. I can't let my feelings hinder. Back to your senses, Lunox. It's not you. I slapped both my cheek. "Lu!" They exclaimed. I stood up. "Let's stop this drama. I think it's time for us to go home," I said. Pharsa checked her phone. "Yeah. It's also time." They both stood up.

"You're here also, little brat?" Great timing. "Big bro!" I said.

"Y-Your brother? So hot..." Pharsa said. Selena's mouth is wide opened. "Why didn't you tell me that you have a prince-like brother?!" Selena exclaimed.

I facepalmed. Just great. They're getting weirder and weirder.
