Lunox’s Point of View
“You don’t need to know,” said Miya and sat on the couch and watched drama in the television.
“Tell me. I need to know,” I forced her. “Can’t you understand? I said you don’t need to know!” She said. Alu took the frame from me. He put it back. “She cared for him. If she doesn’t care about him, this picture frame was thrown to the trash can by now. Instead, she kept it. She treasures Gusion, we treasure him.”
“Then why did you try to kill him?” I asked. “What? We won’t kill him. What the hell are you talking about?” He asked back. Oh, I see. So, the mission wasn’t to kill Gusion but the sniper acted on her own because of her emotions. She thought that without Gusion, her master will be happy. “Nothing.” I answered. It’s better for them not to know it yet. “Tell me what kind of person Gusion is. In school, he’s sometimes gentle or violent.” I said.
“He always smiles. He’s the person who’ll care and cherish for the people he loved. He’ll do anything just to protect the people around him even if it means sacrificing himself. That’s why Miya wanted to save Gusion. We have found out he’s doing something dangerous. He can’t act by himself. We’re worried about him,” he said. It’s the other thing around. I thought they hated him but it’s the opposite. They were worried. I smiled. They’re nice people. “You really knew him well. He’s lucky that he has you guys,” I said. It’s time that I’ll them what really happened.
“About the mission you gave to Lesley,” I said. Miya turn-off the television. “What about that?” She asked. “She tried to kill Gusion. If it wasn’t for my help. He’ll be dead by now.” I said. All of a sudden, someone barged in. What a coincidence. She saw me and was stunned. I waved at her. “Hi. We meet again.”
She gripped her bag. In the bag must be her gun. “What is she doing here? She tried to kill me!” She exclaimed. Oho. She wanted me to look bad in front of them. “Too bad, I didn’t have a chance.” I commented. She gave me an annoyed look.
“What happened to your mission?” Miya asked. She looked down. “I-I failed…” She said. “She was to blame! She harassed me!” Lesley complained. “Les, did you try to kill him?” Miya asked in a serious tone. Her eyes widened and glared at me. “M-My mission was not to kill him but rather to capture him. Why would I try to kill him? Did this girl say anything? She’s lying!” She said. I facepalmed. This woman is a fvcking brat, and a liar. Miya went in front of her and slapped Lesley. Oho. I didn’t expect her to do that.
“I gave you this mission because I trusted you. I-I didn’t think that you will try to kill him,” Miya said. Her voice is beginning to break and she’s just controlling it. Any minute by now, her tears will drop. “She really did say anything! Don’t b-believe her, sis. I-I’m telling the truth,” Lesley said. I rolled my eyes. I can’t stand this.
“Your acting is so obvious. I can clearly see that your words are lies. You are caught. Your scheme was revealed, and yet you still played the victim card? Disgusting.” I said. She remained silent. “S-So what? That jerk deserved to die! He caused you all pain. After you treated him like a family, this is what he’ll repay you? A traitor doesn’t deserve mercy. He teamed up with the guy with the mask! We all knew that he’s an atrocious and evil person, and yet, you’re still being nice to him! He doesn’t deserve all of your love especially you, master Miya.” She said. Did I hear it, right? She mentioned the guy with the mask.
“You just mentioned the guy with the mask. Tell me about him,” I said. Gusion met him. He knew him. He has talked to him. He’s IDK, I’m certain.
“You stay out of it! I’m still talking to—” I quickly ran to her direction. I stopped in front of her. I looked directly in her eyes in a deadly way. I can feel her knees trembling and she sit up suddenly.
