Lunox’s Point of View
Gusion grabbed the collar of the sniper. “Why won’t you answer? Tell us something!” He shouted. He’s been like that since he came here. The sniper’s name is Lesley. At first, I thought she was a dude but I was wrong. She disguised herself as a man. For a sniper, she’s an amateur. I have met a lot of snipers in the past, they were professionals so I can distinguish whether she’s a novice or not. She’s not bad but she’s also not good, an average level of a sniper. Gusion looked in my direction. Is he looking at me? I checked both of my sides but no one other than me is there. “I’m talking to you, stupid!” He shouted. He’s losing his temper. Wait a minute…
“Did you just call me stupid? Excuse me, sir! Who caught her? Isn’t it me? How can you call me stupid if I did all the job that a man should do? A woman protecting a man. 21st century truly is amazing.” I said in a sarcastic tone. Gusion glared at me again. His glares are truly scary but I’m used to it. I have met people that are scarier than his glares, just by their presence is enough to let you feel that they’re dangerous people unlike Gusion.
I went near to him and touched his lips. “Why won’t you speak and just glared at me, hm?” I said and looked at his lips like I’m planning to kiss him. He pushed me. “Tss,” said Gusion and shrugged.
“Let’s stop playing around. Let’s get down to business. Looks like this little fella here doesn’t like to talk. Let me be the one to interrogate her. Let’s see if she will not open her mouth once I talk to her,” I said. I’m scaring her on purpose. Just talk already if you want to cherish your life.
“I won’t talk. I’m loyal to my master,” stated Lesley. I bent down to level her and grip her hair and let her faced me. “If I ask a question, you answer, got it? Because if you don’t… I’ll strip you nak€d,” I said.
“Y-You!” I put out my knife and slashed her clothes. Her clothes were ripped apart.
“Oho. What a nice view, black brassiere. Gusion you want to fvck her? I won’t tell anyone.” I said. Gusion sighed. He took off his coat and put it on Lesley. What is he doing?
“Don’t fool around, Lunox. She’s still a woman.” He said. I rolled my eyes. Wow. I whistled. “You’re lucky we have a gentleman right here, missy. I’m not kind like him. So, talk, you know what I can do. I can kill you right here right now,” I said in a serious tone and stare at her in a feisty way.
“I’ll talk but my words I’ll speak has a limit,” said Lesley.
“Good! That will be good enough. It’s your turn, Gusion.” I said. The sniper’s not my business, I don’t care what happens to her. I only want Gusion.
“I’m your target. Why does your master want me dead? Who is your master?” He asked.
"You keep meddling on her plans that’s why she decided to kill you. My master, she trusted you but what did you do? You broke the promise between the both of you!” She said. She? Her master is a woman? Interesting. “Love is in the air~” I sang.
They shot glares at me. I zipped my mouth. “She’s the one who wanted me dead,” whispered Gusion. His eyes… why does it looked sad? Don’t tell me that woman is her lover? Ah! It can’t be helped. We’re in our age where we wanted to be loved. I went to Gusion and patted his back. “When you’re heartbroken, go clubbing and drink beer all night. That will ease the pain—“ He suddenly covered my mouth. “She’s not…” He avoided eye contact. Looks like I’m right again. I stretched my arms. “Now that we already know who wants you dead. Remember our deal, Gusion?” I asked.
He stood up and leaned on the wall. He took out a cigarette and lit it. “Yeah. I’m Gusion Paxley. An orphan. I was adopted by a single man. Former president of Black Section in 4 consecutive years. I gave up my position because the old man asked me to. Tsk. I kept myself lowkey. Not only because the old man asked me but also, I gained the attention of the underworld.” He said. Underworld? This is getting more complicated as I dug deeper.
“You offended some highly respected goon in the mafia?” I asked.
“I didn’t offend anyone, but they don’t like me for sure,” he said. I can’t disagree with that. He can make people hates him easily with his presence alone. He can be a gentleman but he can also be a beast if he wanted to. He has too many sides of him and I don’t know who's the real one.
The words he stated. It sure is suspicious.
“I investigated you. I looked in the information about you. Gusion Paxley, 19 years old. An orphan. Your parents were murdered but it stated that you weren’t adopted. Your information is limited, it looked like someone hid your real identity. Can you care to explain?” I asked. I saw the smoke of the cigarette. He stepped the cigarette butts.
“The old man’s a cunning man. He knew many people especially related to the government. He has eyes and ears everywhere. You can’t underestimate him. He’s fvcking crazy for his ideals,” said Gusion. Old man? I wondered who he is.
“Your turn,” he said.
“It’s my turn already?” I acted like I was thinking. “As you all know, I’m Lunox Radcliffe. Just like you, I’m an orphan but I was adopted by my uncle. I have a big brother and he’s popular to women. I’ve been living my whole life stucked with my brother. He’s overprotective. He’s the reason why I’m still single—“
“I don’t care about your brother. Who are you? You know what I’m supposed to mean,” said Gusion. It looked like I can’t escape now.
“On what you’ve seen, Gusion. Who do you think am I?” I asked.
“Psycho.” He answered.
“In this beauty, you called me a psycho? You’re mean, Gus!”
“Stop your fvcking drama, Lunox!” He shouted. He’s getting impatient again. I approached Lesley. She heard too much details. I kicked her. Luckily, she fell unconscious. “A pest is gone.” I said to myself. “I’m proposing a deal, Gusion. Be my ally. I want to uncover the secrets of Black Section, no, scratch that, the Pedelton High School. As I’ve transferred here, I found out that this school isn’t an ordinary one. It has a lot of mysteries and secrets and I want to uncover it. Will you help me?”
“What will I gain?” He asked.
“Being an ally means that if you get in trouble or you needed any help you can contact me. I’ll show you my identity but if I found out that you spread it to others and didn’t keep it a secret. You’ll be dead.” I said. I hid my presence and quickly went to his back.
“She disappeared?” I heard him whisper.
“Nope.” I said and pointed the dagger on his neck. “How did you—“
“No questions. Deal or no deal?” I asked and lend out my hand. He held my hand. “So, it’s a deal then.” I said and gave him a mischievous smile.
“Oh. One more thing. Leomord wanted me to lose the match. What’s his reason for that?” I asked. His face turned into a poker face. “It’s related to Black Section. As a former president, I needed to show people that even if I’m not the president anymore, they should still fear and respect me like before. Leomord and I were rivals since I transferred here. He’s a friend to me. I know he fvcking hates me now because I suddenly gave my position like a charity. He wanted to climb on the top on his own deed. I messed up things so bad. Let’s not talk about that. Back to the topic, we’re quits now. You knew my secret and I knew yours.” He said. Oho. He treats me as an ally now.
“Who said I’ve already told you my secret?” I asked.
“You fooled me?!” reacted Gusion. I pulled up my sleeves. “That crest!” He exclaimed. I went near him and put my index finger on his mouth. “Shh. It’s our little secret, Gus.” I whispered.
“Who’s there? It’s already class hours why are you—“ A patrol. I looked at our position. He must have thought we’re making out. I stepped backward. I've got an idea. He already saw us, might as well get real on what we’re doing. I don’t want him to know that there’s another person beside us. I held Gusion’s nape and pulled him closer to me. I kissed him. Gusion’s face was shocked. He was about to push me but I bit his lower lip. He groaned in pain.
"Let's seal it with a kiss," I said seductively between our kisses.
