"you have got to be fucking kidding me. I went through a lot of god damn trouble to keep these things under wraps after that brat got addicted and refused to come out and now your saying that some utter moron has got a hold of them and is using them?" the elderly gentleman slammed his hands down on the desk staring in disbelief and the young butler and his executive assistant stood straight backed across from him.

"Apologies master, I would not have noticed save that the young master has taken an interest in one of the users." The butler bowed slightly as he explained.

"Yes, more than a passing interest. Ah, found the entry details. Oh, this is not good, not good at all." The executive assistant flicked through screens on her tablet muttering to herself for a time before swearing. "The subject of the young masters interest is a young boy, which is neither here nor there however the settings on his access pod and the lack of a name registration lead me to believe that unlike the young master his continued participation in the games is no as voluntary. The main focuses of the system have been altered trapping them within the world with irrational objectives. I cannot tell what the point is but I also cannot get him out, not least because the fail safe has been overridden but also because I don't know what the circumstances are where he is being held."

"Well so much for the development of a state of the art learn system." The gentlemen slumped back in his seat with a sigh.

"Now master, the system works it has just been woefully misused. Give it time we will sort this out." The butler carefully poured a glass of tea for the gentleman before glancing at the assistant. "Something wrong?"

"Not so much, while I can't get the boy out I can adjust the settings so they are not so detrimental to him and prevent the holder from interfering with him while inside the game. Perhaps we will be lucky and while we try to get the boy out the boy will motivate the young master to come out." The assistant nodded to herself as she finished making the adjustments.

"that does not sound like a fast process but I suppose since the software pods amount to a form of stasis for them time is the one thing we have an abundance of. At least until circumstances change." Waving his hand in dismissal the gentleman waited for the two to leave before raising a hand to cover his eyes. "I just hope that if we can get them out they will still be the same people as when they went in."
