Gabel

Gabel was the Alethian Pirate Queen's right hand. Tall, heavy set and fierce he was the enforcer of order and the man no none wanted to mess with. So, when she had decided to send her son out to check on his father, he had been told to go with him and keep an eye on things. When she said that it would be best if Bri acted like a female captain he prepared the crew looking for loyal and close-mouthed men. When Bri took her fiancé Dev onto the ship he stayed on their vessel to keep an eye on things. When he found that Bri had been over on the ship for a long time he thought it was just a matter of catching up. Then he heard the sound of fighting breaking out.

"You lot secure the ship I don't want to see if a hint a mess when I get back," Gabel yells at the men before leaping from the ship to slide down the anchoring rope and land on the merchant vessel. When he looks around it is chaos a young crewman is standing behind a scruffy looking man who holds dagger pointed at Bri and the boy that could only be his twin Rayne.

"You brat, you think it was that easy. Your family's doomed from the moment you failed to listen to the boss"

"Boss huh?" Bri start "I don't think the Stakes' have heard anything from any other pirates, so I wonder which boss you mean. After all the only people they have been ignoring is the slavers, you're not saying that the Malfacts are working with that scum are you?" as he speaks Bri steps towards the man seemingly oblivious to the danger of the dagger. At the same time Dev and a Captain stakes and the royal enforces come over the railing and onto the deck.

"Think you so smart do you girly, just you wait where going to put you all out." The ruffian snarls. Gabel shifts forward not liking how close Bri was standing to the man. However, when the man switches his attention to Gabel, Bri shows that he wasn't the one that needed to be worried about. With a smooth slide forward, he latches on to the man wrist locking the knife had at full extension before coming in from the side with the other hand and shattering his wrist. The knife is plucked free and tossed back to Rayne who deftly catches it. Then One leg arches up catching the man in the stomach and flinging him back against the mast with a scream. As he falls forward Bri releases his hand and pivots bring her leg down again on the back of his neck leaving him out cold on the deck.

"Do you think we need to break anything else. Since we don't have anywhere to properly store him?" Rayne asks as Dev and Levi rush up to them.

"I think it will be best to take him to the holding sell on our ship. Especially since your traitor is now caught," Ariana states as she comes over giving Delis a dark look even as Derek grabs hold of the boy and hauls him over to Captain Stakes.

"Hmm, well I'll leave you to that then," Bri says holding up a locater beacon. "I assume this will handily tell me where their boss is, and we can have trial run at this plan." Bri continues.

Gabel straightens from his position somewhat stunned. He'd watched Bri grow up and knew that he was no push over, but he didn't know when his fighting skills had undergone such a qualitative improvement. I guess he's more grown up then I thought. Especially when he didn't fall out of character as a women even once during that.

"Alright then let's get the show on the road."

Bri strides over and flips onto the tie rope before quickly running up to hop onto the ship. Dev follows right behind him the same ease and Dev is left standing at the base waving for the ship to drop altitude so he could slide down the rope not trusting it to handle him bounding up its slope even if he was certain enough of his balance to make the attempt. It feels like my presence is superfluous but I am an experienced pirate so they will need my input on the attack.
