An interesting change - Lee pt10

"We will be arriving at the warehouse in the next few minutes," Ryan said through the partition of the car as Lee looked up from the tablet he had been working on. Setting it aside he leant back in his seat. He glanced out the window as the sound of gunshots filtered in from outside.

"The Messian family seems to be taking this fairly seriously, how unusual."

"I believe that the actions are being undertaken by the Dupree family as I understand he is engaged to the young miss of the Messian family." Ryan turned the car onto the central road between the warehouses as he spoke.

"Is he now?" Lee said a smirk starting to curve his lips, his family was currently at odds with the Messian and Dupree family and the Dupree family's heir had a reputation for arrogance and womanising so it seemed to be a good match for him since Lee's research indicated the MEssian family did not in fact have any daughters.
"Stop," Lee commanded as they approached the warehouse where the gun fight was happening. Ryan turned to look at him expecting him to be focused on the fight only to find Lee looking out his door window with raised brows.

"Sir?"

"I have just found a further twist to the situation." Outside the window Lee watched the young man in the ridiculously frilly outfit crouch behind the half wall stare at the car. Lee stepped out and wondered what the Messian's youngest would do. To his surprise the boy examined him from head to toe before blinking at him and standing. Lee checked his memories and recalled the boy was called Rayne.

"Sorry, I was admiring your outfit it is very stylish," Rayne said as he stood and dusted his clothes off.

"interesting time to do so," Lee replied as his amusement deepened. Really to interesting, not at all what he expected of a Messian, especially not one raised as the girl of the family. Lee felt his brow then raising as Rayne asked for a phone was he not going to go home with the Dupree brat? as the conversation ended and Rayne left Lee watched eyes narrowing as he stumbled before getting back in the car.

"Ryan, i want to know everything about him,"

"What sort of timeline do you want Sir?"

"Everything, now." Lee clicked on the program on his tablet that monitored all activity on his phone and noted Rayne's intentions with a growing smile.

"Tell my parents that i will leave dealing with the Messian family and Dupree's in A country to them,"

"And if they ask why?"

"I'm finally going to improve my socialisation skills, by attending collage in B city, and if they persist tell them i might bring them back a cute son in law."

Lee glanced at his room door as Ryan came in. "Well"

"He is settled in the suite opposite you, i have had the raider's dealt with and the train is due to arrive on schedule."

"And the man that was with him?" a dark look flashed in Lee's eyes as he thought of Kain and how he was able to help Rayne back to his room. He would have to see that a similar thing did not happen again.

"Kain is a butler by profession and I will make certain he does not interfere with your courting process," Ryan snapped to attention at the mention of Kain and the focus had little to do with Lee's penchant for strong methods to remove anything he perceived as an inconvenience.

"Hmmm, well we shall see when we arrive in B Country. Also monitor the modeling competition he is entering if it looks like their could be any danger buy the company and institute appropriate measures." Lee picked up a book and settled back in his seat while Ryan left.

As he went into his own room opposite Kain's Ryan wondered what extent Lee would consider appropriate under the circumstances. deciding that it would be better to do more than less and face the consequences if Rayne was injured he made some calls to set in place a further four teams of guards in B country's capital to monitor for danger to Rayne less they suffer the fate of the Raiders.

A but from Lee's perspective, for Allroundfangirl who said she wouldn't mind hearing another perspective and to satisfy my desire to write how Lee views Rayne. Next chapter they will finally be off the train.
