Romance plot changed to star-crossed lovers. Reminding host to progress the story.

Once the royal enforcers had successfully caught the slavers in the mansion with the protagonist having 'escaped' the system gave a timely notice that I raised a brow at before taking a sip of the hot chocolate I had been handed as I sat on the side of the enforcer carriage. The medics had checked me, and I was given a clean bill save for the cut on my arm. Levi had gone off to handle something and would likely not be back for some time giving me room to contemplate how to 'progress the story' in the case of Romeo and Juliet it was naturally advancing the conflict between the two sides while making opportunities for the lovers 'torn asunder' to meet. However, having not met the male lead this process would be a bit difficult.

Alright system how about a status update on the tasks?

Support the destruction of the slave trade business 7/20
Promote the development of the protagonist's relationship 0/20
Promote the protagonist's reputation to the people -2/20
Revising.....
Provide opportunities for the male lead to interact with the protagonist
Hidden: Capture the boss 14/20

Should I be concerned about the protagonist's negative reputation?

Completion scores run from -20 to 20 a max score in either direction satisfies the requirement.

So, I went through all that additional trouble for nothing?

Blacking of the protagonist is allowable psychological breakdown is not.

Then I hope the protagonists are of sturdy mentality. Surly if there angry they won't go crazy.

"You there, where is Commander Levi. I demand to see him immediately." As I turn to look towards the speaker I see and obviously high place aristocrat talking out the Royal enforcer guarding the entrance to the slaver building. Even at my polities I could only describe him as gaudy.

"Your Highness, the Commander is investigating the study for clues as to the slavers actions. It is of the upmost importance." The enforcer bows as he speaks

Well, well delivering himself to the door.

"My beloved fiancé was brought here I demand to know where she is."

Interesting I wonder who told him about that?

I stand up and move over towards them.

"I'm sorry to interrupt but are you talking about the really pretty lady that was taken I tried to save her but the slavers where to strong." I whisper with my eye lowered

"Ah, you saw her?" the prince responds the haughty attitude dropping as he turned to focus on me.

"Yes, when the enforcers launched their rescue, I heard her yell, but in the end she went with the slavers, she was too far away for me to meet her." Its nice that he isn't randomly derogatory.

"Those evil bastards dragging my sweet beloved along."

I blink in response to the prince's words. This ability to misinterpret is strong, I was thinking I would have to be careful with my phrasing so as to not trigger him but maybe not?

Progress update

Promote the development of the protagonist's relationship 5/20

I'm sorry what? That progress is fast but why are you suddenly reporting all over the place?

"If only the slavers where not so free to roam around we might be able to find her. As it is probably only the pirates will have any success." I hope he bites; it will be so much easier.

"Humph, those slavers daring to take my precious away naturally can no longer have the right to do what they like, in fact they no longer have the right to operate. As for pirates if I say they don't exist that its support for the enforcers from the private sector then that's just what it is. You tell your commander I am going to inform my father." With a huff the prince turns on his heel and strides away.

Well, ah hmmm. Does this count as supporting the plot? I technically instigated the action that seems intent on the destruction of the slave trade though he really is a bit to easy to prod, maybe that's why the protagonist likes him?
