The silence in the carriage prevented me from retorting to the system as I realised that Lee had finished talking. Wincing slightly "sorry big brother Lee I got distracted by my thoughts as to what I needed to do when we get there. Pretty bad to be distracted by my own topic."
"So rude, how can anyone be so rude as to daze off in the middle of a conversation" Callie not only possess that two faced incencere character type her voice was infinitely annoying as well.
Note to self avoid circumstances that allow her to speak.
"Think about the future is a wise behaviour, and not nearly as rude as eavesdropping and then cutting into a conversation to criticise someone you have nothing to do with." Lee's voice was frigid causing Callie to back pedal.
"How dare you insult my betrothed?" A new male voice cut in as a blonde, tanned and handsome man stepped into the carriage.
Enter the male lead no doubt.
A comparison between Lee and the male lead found the newcomer to be lacking not only in looks but also in presence, likely because the male lead had an air of entitlement that made it seem like he was aware he was handsome and thought that should translate into people falling at his feet.
While this guy is annoying their doesn't seem a reason for the action options ...
And then gunshots rattled the train and screams sounded in the neighboring carriage.
