Levi raised a brow and slowly smiled as I spoke "this is very reasonable. Royal Enforces diligently working. As for the pirates, these ruffians who can guess their process."

I smile in return and continue, "in the long term we then want to reduce their ability to snatch people. A simple registrar maintained by the chief of each town and reported to the royal enforces magistrate of each area would create a clear identity for everyone." I gesture slightly to the crew register strapped to the wall by the door of father's room. "Given the Royal Enforces animosity to the slave trade, and the traders habit of flaunting themselves to spite them I doubt dissent would come from that quarter."

"Well that would be useful, but it would likely not get approved if the slavers throw enough money at the court to quash the idea." Levi responds.

"That would only occur if they thought it was going to impede them. Naturally, the register is not for the sole purpose of managing their illegal slaves. Its main purpose is to support the court for collection of tithes. If all the people are properly registered, including their occupational status then the court will be able to have an exactly accurate accounting of what they should be obtaining." A ruling hierarchy not interested in accurate taxation doesn't rule long, moreover in modern society countries are always eyeing the resources elsewhere let alone this sort of feudalistic society that still have public executions for the whims of the aristocracy.

"oh, I do like this plan." Levi chuckles slightly while Cade seems to be taking notes.

Host main task unlocked.

Eh? Who woke this thing up? Also, this seems way to helpful for its normal operation

Oh wonderful, a direction that wants me to help the homicidal idiots likely by acting as a foil. Also, I bet if I capture the boss, you'll immediately kick me off.

"That's horrifying, you could send a business broke quickly like that." Father leant forward in his seat.

"Well I don't expect the traders to go down quite that easily, but it may make them more desperate to 'snatch' some profit and that could make them careless enough to lose their heads." Perhaps even literally. "Plus, if the pirates liberate any slaves, we can help them gain trade experience at our supply offices and then 'find' their way homes if they like after a reasonable time. Thus, preventing the slavers from making any gains via sales."

"We really have a chance at putting them out of business. But how do we contact the sky pirates?" Father asks.

"Why do we need to? Can't we just make our own pirate crew and do the work ourselves?"

"I.... can't be away from the company though." Father glances at Derek and the enforcers seeming to not like what he is expecting to hear

"Well, I'm young and adventurous, I can do the job. If you want to add a bit of experience, I can take your second. Orchestrate a falling out over the pressure and he will be free and clear," I say calmly.
