as the train came to stop in the station while the other passengers where still getting their luggage I snuck off, or more accurately disembarked with great speed.

"May I ask why we are rushing?" Kain asks as he follows me through the station.

"Avoiding a stalk...I want to do some things before registering at the apartment."

If I move fast enough and erratically enough maybe the stalker plot will have trouble catching up. I don't need it's interferance when I'm finding Kain a suitable partner and replacing the leads.

"I see. Perhaps"

"Rayne?" I turn to look at Lee as he appears beside me.

"Hi Lee, you have things to do as well?"

"Yes, we are heading towards the central business district." As I speak to Lee Kain comes up beside me and starts to speak only to be pulled away abruptly by Ryan.

"Huh, what a coincidence that's were we are headed as well, got things to do and the apartment I'm renting until the term starts is there."

"Ah, well in that case would you like a lift, I have a car picking me up and it is no problem to take you."

Is this the plot setting me up? Hmmm I have not information on Lee and the system has chimed in so, should be fine. Worth the risk for a speedy escape before the leads get off the train and disaster strikes.

"That would be great, thanks."

As we hope into the care Callie and Malcom exit the airport and a screech of tires preludes a car hurting off the road and towards the side walk where they are standing. As Malcom trips over his own feet and scrambles back and Callie dives aside she looks at me and glares.

Why do I think their is going to be some coincidental reason that the accident is related to me and I'm going to be a suspect in a suspicious accident?

Lee closes the door abruptly and nods to the driver and the car starts to move.

"Won't leaving be suspicious?" I ask as I look at Lee

"No, clearly the incident had nothing to do with us. And the victims are not our concern."

Cold, just to my taste.
