"So where are you staying?" Lee asks. I glance at Kain who gave the address. Lee then began to chuckle, "how coincidental that is the apartment building in which my flat is in.

"Oh how nice," Kain mutters. I look at him but his features remain carefully neutral. Perhaps the tone was my imagination, of more pressing concern is where I am going to find a female lead on short notice.

"Well I am looking forward to visiting the shopping district nearby, so the place will be just right." I say as we come to a stop at the lights. "In fact if you wouldn't mind handling settling the luggage Kain I would like to go straight their."

Frowns appear on both Lee and Kain's faces at that i a geared myself for an argument that never came as they looked at each other before smoothing their features.

"That is fine," Kain says

"Simple enough to drop you off on the way, let us exchange numbers and you can ring if you buy to much until you have means of transport settled." Lee brings out his phone as he speaks and I causally rattle my number off before adding his once he messages me.

"So generous, I will endeavour to minimise any inconvenience." Normally I would stay away from the villain as the plot is to likely to come near them, but given the plot is already a consummate stalker best to stay in contact as the villain cannot be dealt with until the end of the story. I need all the time I can get at this point since I doubt a female lead is just going to fall into my lap.

A few minutes later I get out of the car and wave as the others depart. turning to look at the shopping district I mentally prep myself for battle. I will win this war just you wait.

Fifteen shops later and I was convinced I had not packed the right weapons for this war, as I had found no one who was engender remoutly suitable for Kain, all to ambitious or self centred or greedy. As he had just been released for the shallow terror of the current female lead I hardly wanted him to suffer the same again.

Sitting down in a small cafe I take out my phone and look over the notes I'd been making. I was not looking for an excessive beauty for one such demands where unrealistic, for another a beautiful face did not necessarily mean a beautiful person. I wanted above all an actual nice person, though I was beginning to wonder if that was even possible.

"Ahh" a startled yelp caught my attention just in time for someone to fall sideways into my booth and land prectically on top of me.

Short hair and somewhat plain with glances and in a denim dress she went pale as she saw my face. As she scrambled to her feet she overbalanced so I reached out and grabbed her arm to keep her from falling.

"Sorry, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to." She muttered in a low voice that was in fact familiar. I tugged her into the seat and smiled.

"Ryan." If she could get any paler she would have

"I...I"

"Calm down where did the collected bodyguard go?" It was a serious change between the male persona I had met her in and her current one, had I not just gotten up close on the matter I would have thought she was in the same sufferance as me, though as it was it was not dissimilar just in a different direction.

With a miserable expression she responds "Lee found me as a kid and took me off the street but it would not have been appropriate for someone of his standing to be so close to a girl. I have been a man ever since but occasionally I get to be me when off duty. I wasn't expecting you to be hear, and I hadn't realised heels where so hard to walk in."

"Well no harm done, I am not likely to tell anyone after all." Hmmm, I wonder.

"Kain I should think might say something but that would no doubt be training talking." As Ryan blushed slightly and then quickly changed the subject I gave myself good odds on the subject.

Leading Lady get.
