I slept awful-

I winced at the bright sunlight filtering through the sheer curtains as I opened my eyes, mentally preparing for whatever I was about to see.

A soft grumble interrupted my train of thought, my eyes latching onto Levi's sleeping face.

HES STILL ASLEEP ????

INSOMNIAC MY ASS

WE HAVE IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO TODAY AND THIS MAN IS JUST SLEEPING ???

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LEVI I KEEP HEARING ABOUT WHO 'has trouble sleeping'

"Well good morning to you as well," I murmured, eyes still glued to his serene expression.

He's gorgeous.

it's nice like this though.

It's comfortable.

I let out a long sigh, moving closer to Levi to brush the hair out of his face.

On closer inspection they probably weren't lying.

It's not that noticeable from far away but he has dark circles.

He's a grown adult he should have a good sleep schedule by now.

I mean- Levi acts like he has it all figured out but I don't think he does.

FOR STARTERS HE'S AWFUL AT EXPRESSING HIS EMOTIONS

AND ACCEPTING GIFTS

PLUS PLUS PLUS- HE DOESN'T KNOW WHEN PEOPLE CARE ABOUT HIM

HE NEEDS SO MUCH HELP

I don't really mind though.

Come to think of it I really don't know anything about the previous Duke and Duchess-

There aren't even any pictures back home.

It's probably just another layer to Levi's edgy backstory.

I'll ask Kuchel about it later anyway-

"Can't get enough of me?" Levi groaned, rolling his eyes at me.
