(Side note - I know Killua goes after Leorio, I just made it this way so it's easier for me to order things. I apologize in advance)

Kurapika gave me a "good luck" face as I stepped out into the center, waiting for my opponent to challenge me. Finally, my partner walked out of the shadows that was covering their appearance. That was including the cloth that they were wearing.

"Hello," my opponent said with a gentle look. They seemed to be a boy but with female traits in particular. He was quite short, seeming to be about 4'10.

"I look forward to challenging you, (y/n)-san." He told me, holding his hand out to shake mine. No one other than Kurapika has been this nice to me before.

"Same goes to you, um-"

He spoke up. "Sho. Call me Sho."
"Good luck, Sho-chan," I had said to him. Normally, I wouldn't have been so tender to my opponent, but since he was showing gratitude I might as well. Although, the name "Sho" sounded oddly familiar..

"In this battle, you are optionally authorized to use weapons. Any technique you use is permitted."
I shook his hand and got prepared for a fight. I didn't expect much from him taking the fact that he was short into consideration, but I terribly underestimated him. Just as I was about to make a move, he suddenly appeared behind me, kicking me to the ground. I looked up at him, looking at his smile. It was quite innocent. Sho's fighting style seemed intimate, very similar to mine. Before he had the chance to lay another hand on me, I counter attacked, but he dodged it with style.

"Very nice moves, (y/n)-san." He told me, trying to attack me again. Unfortunately, he missed; I never thought I'd have to use them but I brought out my Kunai darts.
Just as he got away from me, I quickly grabbed his wrist and pushed him to the ground. I held the Kunai darts next to his neck as a threat if he were to slip out of my hands.

"Are you ready to surrender, Sho-chan?" I asked.

"No, I am not."
I didn't want to do this, but I started pushing the Kunai darts deeper into his neck until there was just a tiny bit of blood coming out.
"Now are you?" I asked again.
"Yes, you have caught me. Fair fight, (y/n)-san." He smiled at me, as I got up and let him go. This gave us another point, so we were free to go to the other side, but Leorio still hasn't gone yet. We had to wait for him to fight, first.
I went up to Kurapika and greeted him, but he barley payed attention to me. He was looking at Sho-chan very intensely, but Sho didn't notice him glaring.
"Kurapika, is everything okay?" I questioned him, but he ignored me. I don't think he liked Sho very much..
Was Kurapika... jealous?
Was he jealous of Sho?
Maybe because Sho acted so dearly to me, and because of the fact that he was a male as well. But I didn't really have much interest in Sho, I'd see him as a brother if I got to know him more.
"Kurapika, are you jealous?" I casually asked him another question. This time, he looked at me as his cheeks flared up.
"J-jealous? I'm not jealous, you're acting completely bizarre.." he turned his head away, avoiding eye contact. I wasn't the one acting "bizarre" he was for sure.. oh well. He was acting cute if I'm being truly honest. Wait- what am I saying..

"Can you guys stop flirting with each other? Leorio is about to go up," Killua said.
What an arrogant kid.

Oh, did I mention the big blue guy was still laying there? Yeah, I was forced to fight around him because "his match hasn't been settled." Whatever. Leorio was complaining about it.
Leorio's opponent had mentioned that the blue guy Kurapika was fighting wasn't dead, but only knocked out. Great. It was a death match anyways, so the previous fight didn't end. That goes for mine too apparently. What a bunch of shit.
Kurapika refused to finish him off, which meant that the other team had the upper hand. I mean, I didn't really have a problem with it.. since I didn't like the spiders much either, anyways. Well of course I didn't, if it's not obvious already.
Leorio was yet again making a big fuss about defeating him though, forcing everyone to give a show of hands to decide. I'm just not gonna do anything, it's better if I don't interfere-

Anddd of course, no one else raised their hand. It seemed like a dumb idea anyways, sorry Leorio. Gon suggested on waiting till he woke up, but there's no telling how long that would take. Leorio finally had enough and started sulking, my god what are these people waiting for.. I'm tired of standing around. It's getting quite boring to say the least, and plus we don't have all the time in the world. While I was standing there staring at the blue creature who was laying on the floor, I noticed something. It was quite possible that he was dead, I mean.. he hasn't even moved an inch for a couple of hours now. It seems like Gon and Killua have caught on the idea, too. But it was also too far away for us to tell.

After arguing over his dead body or whatever, the girl wearing handcuffs and the dark greenish cloth suggested a bet. It was whether he was dead or alive. The bad part about this was that she wanted to wager time, the one thing we needed the most besides points to pass right now. Just great. So this was basically a gamble at this point... using time rather than chips.

The whole idea was that they continue placing bets until no one has any hours left. Whatever, this was getting boring to listen to. I turned behind myself to go and sit down in the dark, only to catch Kurapika staring at me as he quickly looked away.

"Is there something you need, Kurapika?" I asked him.
"N-no, everything is fine, sorry (y/n)." Seemed a bit suspicious, but oh well.
