Suddenly, Gon got out and ran after Kurapika as well. If Gon was going, then I am, too. This is Kurapika — I should be there for him. I hopped out of the car, I think Leorio gave up on stopping me at this point. Suddenly, I sensed the troupe drawing near. This can't be good. As the three of us kept running, a few of the troupe's members and the leader stopped right in front of us.
I knew this would happen, but of course, Kurapika wouldn't listen to me. I suddenly stopped, jumping to the side with Kurapika.
"(Y/n), why did you follow me—" he asked silently, almost too quiet. I could barley hear him. I kept my voice a little under a whisper, so that the troupe couldn't hear me.
"Kurapika. Is that a serious question?
Are you going to keep doing everything by yourself? Because I'm not going to let you do that! I'm not going to be useless all the time, just because you want me to stay safe!
This is..
This is my revenge too!"
His eyes widened at the sudden tone, but then gave in.
"Very well then."
I listened into their conversations.
"Two of them are in the alley."

Ahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaha dammit.

"Another one is behind the dumpster."

Double dammit.
Kurapika activated his nen chains, but that wasn't a good idea if they already know where we're at. That's what both me and Gon tried to tell him, anyway. Unexpectedly, Gon stepped out from behind the dumpster, him being completely visible to the target.
What on earth was he thinking?!

"Sorry! I'll stop following, so can you let me go?" He said. I looked behind me, noticing Killua running this direction. Was he going to cover up for Kurapika? I guess I should, too.
"Show yourself," the pink haired woman said, Killua revealing himself instead of it being Kurapika. Just as I was about to step out too, Kurapika grabbed my wrist.
"Wait, (y/n). Don't go out there."
"Hm? Why not?" I said, a confused look on my face.

"This is your revenge too, remember?" He told me, smiling. I smiled back at him, stepping back by his side.
"Yeah. You're right."
The smiles on our faces immediately washed off just as we realized that it wasn't me who was being captured this time, but Gon and Killua.
"Tie them up." I heard the leader say. They then walked off, not being able to track them down at the moment as they disappeared into the cold rain.
Melody caught up, noticing the situation.
"Damn it!" Kurapika shouted.
"Kurapika, please, you must be patient-"
"I understand!" He shouted once again.
"Kurapika!! Please calm down. If you and the others were able to rescue me, then we will be able to save the both of them, too.

Together."
My words only calmed him down a bit, but he was still breathing heavily.
"I'm sorry," he said, starting to calm down more.

"Head to the hotel," he then said, holding my hand to improve speed, even though I was faster than him. It made he blush a bit. After a few seconds had passed, I received a call from Sho. I put it on speaker, so that Kurapika and Melody could get a hold of the information, too.

"This is (y/n), what's going on?" I asked.

S: Me and Leorio are at the hotel. I am waiting outside, so that the troupe doesn't hear me. Killua and Gon are currently in their hands right now, and both of them in the hotel too.

(Y/N): you have to erase their memories as soon as possible, otherwise Pakunoda will discover Kurapika's identity-

S: it's too late. She already knows. Pakunoda found out from one of the fellow bodyguards, who we cannot locate at the moment.

What?! I could feel Kurapika's frustration right next to me.

S: however, we have a plain airing in just a few seconds, 7:00 to be exact. I'll call you back, there are a few things that I have to do.

(Y/N): okay, I'll tell you if anything happens.

Before Sho hung up the phone, I heard him gasp. We were now right outside the hotel, dashing in the second the lights turned off. I pulled the car up, so that Kurapika could take the Phantom Troupe leader in with no problem at all. He came out with the leader, chained up so that he couldn't escape. He forced him in the car, me moving seats so that Leorio could drive. I didn't know my way around Yorknew city very much, anyways. The leader tried speaking.
"A Shinobi and a Kurta. Interestin-" before he could continue, Kurapika tightened his chains to shut him up. Kurapika then turned to me.
"The next time he tries saying something out of the ordinary, threaten him with your flames." I nodded, but that was a bit sudden. Oh well.

"What are you looking at?" Kurapika asked, aggressively.

"Nothing. I didn't expect the chain user to be a woman."
Was he trying to get himself killed here.. I wasn't going to use my flames this time because it would be kind of stupid to.

"Did I say that I was?" Kurapika took off the weave that he was wearing. I don't think it changed much.
"You shouldn't let appearances deceive you. Anyway, you should watch what you say. Since it may be the last thing out of your mouth."

That was a lie, I could tell. If he were to kill the leader, then it would only kill Killua and Gon in return. Kurapika let himself get angry again, oh lord.. he was just about to punch him, but I stopped him this time.
"Kurapika! Don't hurt him, it will only put Killua and Gon in danger. Needless to say, it might make matters worse—" The leader kept going on with his words, which caused him to punch him anyway.
"Kurapika, please calm down!"
Kurapika then turned to me.
"Why do you show mercy for the ones who massacred your family?! I have a reason to be furious, and so do you!!" I leaned in closer to him, not realizing that it made him blush a little.
"Please, Kurapika..

I care about you.
I should be angry, I know.
But that's not the way to resolve things."
His scarlet disappeared soon enough, but he was still  a bit angry, causing him to sigh.
