Both me and Kurapika let out a gasp of the sight of the tattoo, causing the others to look at me and him with confusion. I couldn't let them find out, not now at least. I covered my glowing eye that was visibly shining through my contact, but that only led up to more suspicion. Leorio turned to me with the most bizarre look on his face.

"(Y/n), what's wrong? And why are you covering your eye? You and Kurapika are acting.. weird." He questioned, but things wouldn't be pretty if they found out about me. I am almost certain that they would despise me, that is.

I started rubbing my eye pretending like something was in it, which hopefully didn't seem like much of a lie. "Oh, uhm.. it's nothing I'm fine! I just caught something in my eye, sorry about that Leorio." I went off with a slight chuckle, and calmed myself down so that my glowing eye wouldn't be visible anymore. It always glowed a crimson blue, and that's what they referred to us.
Sapphire eyes.

The scarlet eyes and sapphire eyes were like yin and yang. The scarlet eyes were valuable and gorgeous, while the sapphire eyes were dreaded and said to cause curses. But like I mentioned before, those were just rumors. My eyes were normal, just like anyone else's.

After calming myself down, I realized that Kurapika's expression didn't change one bit. His eyes were.. red?
Was he a Kurta?
It can't be, I thought they all died.
But his situation could be like mine. He could've either escaped, or wasn't there during the attack. AGhhh, this was all so confusing.

Kurapika started to fight the blue guy, punching him to the ground. Kurapika certainly was very strong if I'm being completely honest. But the only thing is, he didn't seem like he was acting normal. Is he ok-?

After Kurapika finished his take, his opponent was knocked out on the ground. It was quite obvious that his opponent was faking it, though. At least to me. Kurapika walked over to where we were just as I was about to check on him, but he walked right past the five of us and sat down on the ground in the back near the gate. Hopefully I wasn't about to bother him.. I went up to him and asked if he was okay, which caused me to hear a few words from him.

"The Kurta clan," He said with a quiet but stern tone to his voice. "As a Kurta, I will avenge them all, (y/n)." The others seemed like they already knew about this, but this was new information to me. Kurapika was apart of the Kurta clan?-

"Oh my, Kurapika, I am very sorry about all of your losses.." I said with a worried expression on my face. It all made sense now, that explains his red eyes and why he got mad at Leorio on the boat. But I wanna know why he didn't tell me beforehand, like he did with the others..
"Kurapika, why didn't you tell me this sooner...? All the others seem to know already..." I asked him. I wasn't expecting a genuine answer, until Kurapika lifted his head up but refused to look me in the eyes.

"Because.. because I'm afraid of losing you. I'm sorry (y/n) I..." he put his head back down, but there's no way in hell I'm ever going to leave him. I want him to know that.
Without a thought, I kneeled down and hugged him. I don't know why, I just felt.. bad.
"Kurapika, don't be sorry." I told him, which caused him to look up at me as I hugged him. The thing is, if I know that Kurapika is a Kurta, it should only be fair that I tell him about myself, too.. but I don't know if I'll be able to with the others around. Whatever, I'll just go for it. If he hates me, I guess I'll go back to having no friends. That's not what I want, of course.

"Hey Kurapika, there's also something I haven't told yo-" before I had the chance to finish, one of the prisoners from the other side started complaining.
"Is one of you gonna step up yet or what?! We've been waiting!!"

Killua rolled his eyes. "Fine, whatever, I'll go I guess." He stepped up out into the center, his opponent doing the same. The examiners from the other side started explaining how dangerous Killua's opponent was, but Killua didn't seem bothered one bit. He was different for a kid his age, even a grown adult would be scared of that man that he's about to face. I mean, he literally just tore the wall with his bare hands. You definitely don't see that everyday.

As they were about to fight, Killua's opponent was already falling down to the ground. Next thing you know, Killua is holding his heart in a thin plastic bag. That's- impressive. A-as long as he's on our side.
Killua went up to the man, and gave him his heart back like a boy helping an old lady cross the street. Smooth.

Well- that certainly was fast. It was supposed to be Leorio's turn, but Leorio being the simp he is insisted on me going first. He was trying to be nice, but I just wanted to get this over with. Oh well.
