Kurapika Kurta x Fem!reader

Part 14

I woke up in a small hospital room to see the familiar blonde Kurta hovering over me, making sure I was okay. I opened my eyes and watched as he immediately backed away so that I wouldn't notice.
"W-where am I?" I asked in wonder, siting up in the hospital bed painted with white sheets and white pillows.
"You're here to recover after you passed out for some strange reason," Kurapika told me. "It's Killua.. he murdered Bodoro."

Murdered him?
"Wait d-did I hear that right?" I asked in shock, watching as he nodded his head up and down.
"C'mon, we have to go and see what's wrong with Killua! That's not just something he would do out of the ordinary...

Right?"
"But (y/n), you have to stay here and recover-"
"Kurapika, I'm fine! Now let's go!"
I grabbed him by the hand and ran out of the small hospital room, turning a few corners to see Leorio, Sho, and a couple of other people who have passed. Gon wasn't there, but I saw Killua..
He had blood all over his face, and people were staring in fear and surprise.
"K-Killua?" I said, still holding Kurapika's hand. He looked over at me, his eyes dead, paired with a blank look. He stayed silent, as a tall man with long, silky black hair with pins on his green outfit came up to him. He was quite pale, and looked a bit creepy. He reminded me of a doll.
"You cannot have friends, Killua." He kept telling Killua the most ridiculous things, and I hated it. He was manipulating him. It was all his doing that Killua was this way.
"I wanna...
I want to go home." Killua said. Since he killed Bodoro, this means..
He failed the hunter exam. And if I didn't recklessly pass out, I could've done something about it..
'I'm so sorry, Killua..' I said under my breath. Kurapika turned to me, it seems like he heard what I said..
"(Y/n). This isn't your fault, don't blame yourself."He said with a gentle voice.
"But Kurapika..-"

"It wasn't your fault, you're overreacting a bit. Calm down." He slightly smiled at me, which made me feel.. better. I paused for a moment, and then responded.
"Thank you, Kurapika."

Killua went home, and since he is a Zoldyck, I don't think that he's in good hands. Me, Leorio, Gon, Kurapika, and Sho all received a hunter license, but the same news was unfortunately different for Killua.
"We have to go and save Killua!" Gon said. I mean, it's the only thing that we could really do to get him back. He's the one that wanted to go back home in the first place. We left the place, and before we set off, Sho told me something.
"(Y/n), after you rescue your dear friend, are you planning to do anything?" He asked me.

"Well.. I kinda want to discover what nen is and learn it! Since you talked about it before, so.. it must be pretty powerful, isn't it?" I replied.
"You're gonna need someone to teach you," he said. "My sensei, Biscuit Krueger, should be able to help you. I'll tell her about your awaiting. Unfortunately I cannot be the person to teach you, for there are still some things I have to master. I also have a few students of my own to take care of."

Sho was offering me so much- I really couldn't take this.
"Sho, that's so nice of you! I can't thank you enough, how do I repay you—"
"Of course there's no need to repay me, there's just one thing I want from you whenever you master the ways of nen.

Show me your secret, and I'll show you mine."
Oh god.. it wasn't just Kurapika that's onto me, but now Sho.. I can't keep hiding these things forever. Or..
Does he know something about me that I don't have the knowledge of him being aware? I gulped as sweat ran down my cheek, and slowly nodded. I then left with Kurapika and the others, and I saw that Kurapika noticed my nervousness.
"(Y/n), is everything okay? Did Sho perhaps say something out of the ordinary?-"

I have to tell him. I can't keep hiding the fact that I'm a worthless monster.
"Kurapika, there's something I still haven't told you yet.."

"Oh? Go ahead, you can tell me."

"There's something about my ey-"
Again. Someone interrupting me trying to tell the person I care about the most right now the thing I fear the biggest. It was Leorio.
"C'mon lovebirds, we don't got all day!!"

Kurapika brought out a laptop and looked for tickets that would transport us faster to the Zoldyck Mansion. There was a few results, so we chose one. We would be there shortly, maybe a couple of days to a few hours at the earliest. After we ordered them, Gon went up to me and the other two.
"Y'know, I couldn't have done this without you guys! So thank you so much!" He smiled.
There was nothing to do now but to wait for us to get on the airship, so I trained a bit to kill time.
"Hey (y/n), do you think you could maybe pass me my briefcase-"

'Nen..," I thought. 'What is so special about it?
What does it do?
It's a power, isn't it?"

"Hellooooo? I'm speaking to you!!" Leorio said in my face.

"Oh what? Sorry." He facepalmed and picked up his briefcase. "Forget it, what are you so focused on?"

"The power of nen," I said. "I heard Sho talk about it before, and he assigned me a sensei named Biscuit Krueger, but I have no idea what nen is. I just heard him talking about it." Kurapika heard what I was saying, and seemed like he knew a thing or two.

"Needless to say, I have heard of it once before. I am certain that it is a special power that hunters use." He then looked back at the laptop.
"Also, the website says that we would arrive in the airship tomorrow, meaning that we would appear at the Zoldyck Mansion shortly."

Gon punched a fist in the air in excitement.

"All right!!"
