We'd arrived at Mount Weather. Jackson and Abby were rushing Nyko to the hospital wing, the rest of us right on their tail. Jasper slowed down, and Octavia noticed.
"Hey, don't do anything stupid." She called back to him. He mumbled something I couldn't hear. We turned the corner and Octavia leaned in closer to me.
"Follow him, will you? I'm worried about him."
I nodded, and slowly walked back to the corner. I saw him headed another way, so I slinked through the hall. We did this many more times until we reached the art warehouse. The memories of the place rushed back to me, but I pushed them away. I wasn't here to think about the boy he used to be. I was here to help him become the man he needed to be.
He was tearing through the shelves of art, but I couldn't see where he was. I followed him loosely, but found myself facing the wall where he'd first kissed me. I rested against it, trying to remember the experience — the last time I'd been truly happy.
I heard a crash and was brought back to the present. "Jas?" I called out quietly. I followed the sounds of his ragged breathing to find him sitting on the ground, rocking back and forth with a painting propped up in front of him.
He looked up at me, an unfamiliar look in his eyes. They were tearful, but there was something else behind it.
"Oh. It's you.""It's me." I replied. I went and sat down next to him, resting my his head on my shoulder. He didn't want to talk. Neither did I. We sat in comfortable silence for a minute, before he took my hand in his. I kissed the top of his head and rubbed his shoulder.
He stiffened up, then moved a bit so that he was facing me. I looked into his eyes and we sat there, just taking each other in. He'd lost the life in his eyes, and his cheekbones were much more prominent with all the weight he'd lost. I was still scrutinizing his features when his lips crashed onto mine.
My eyes widened, but I shut them. My still-broken nose was throbbing with pain, but I didn't care because I was kissing Jasper Jordan.
I shifted so that my arms were around his neck and his were on my waist. He tugged at my jacket and I took it off, throwing it aside. I heard it hit a painting, but I didn't care. He reached for my shirt, too, and I was so elated that I didn't stop to think about why he was doing this in the most painful place of Mount Weather, while he was still mourning Maya's death.
I let him remove it and only stopped kissing him to raise my arms and slide it off. I went for his shirt and he spun me so that I was laying on the concrete ground. I shivered from the cold ground. He lips travelled down my throat, and across my collarbone, then back up. He left marks wherever he went. His hands trailed up and down my sides, sending shivers down my spine.
"Maya." He whispered into my neck. I froze, then shoved him off.
Neither of us looked at each other.
I zipped my jacket all the way up to hide my neck and cleared my throat when Octavia turned the corner. "We're ready, are we leaving?"
She gave me a quizzical look, but went on.
"Come on, Bellamy is back."I rushed out faster than I should've, but I didn't want to stick around.

We reached the dining hall and I was shocked at the amount of people sitting in there to eat.
"There must be 30 of them in here." Octavia frowned.
Pike came up to us, beaming. "36, but the more, the merrier."
"36?" I asked, glaring.
"The Grounders are gonna think we moved in." Octavia commented, not to anyone in particular."Well," Pike started, beginning to get defensive. "There was no more room at the inn."
