"Jungwoo, let me carry th—"
"I got it!"
Lucas watched his boyfriend struggle to pick up the box before closing the trunk of his car and shrugging. "Ok, fine."
Once inside the apartment complex, Jungwoo only made it up half a flight of stairs before giving the box to his boyfriend. "I just don't want to carry it anymore," he muttered before poking at his strained arm muscles.
When they got to their apartment, Lucas set the box down in the middle of the floor next to all the other boxes. "Well...we finished carrying stuff...now we have to unpack it."
"Why is moving so much work—I'm not cut out for this!" Jungwoo yelled as he flopped down on the couch.
An offended expression formed on the younger's face, "Hey—I don't want to hear it! Me and your mom moved in all the furniture yesterday while you went shopping princess!"
"Do not unironically call me princess, Yukhei!" He whined. "I have strong legs but my arms are...nothing."
Lucas walked over and grabbed his boyfriends hands, pulling the boy up, "C'mon baby, let's at least get our bedroom unpacked today."
"Yukhei," Jungwoo whispered, grabbing the boys shoulders, "We're going to sleep in the same bed every night."
"Jungwoo," he mimicked, "We're living together."
The elder quickly leaned forward to give his boyfriend a kiss before yelling, "Carry me to our bedroom!"
"You really want me to carry you?"
"Yes, you're wasting our time Yukhei."
When they made it to unpacking the bedroom, it didn't take Lucas long to find something to complain about. "We're not using these old lady sheets," he groaned as he held up the pink floral sheets Jungwoo packed.
"I think somebody needs a nap..." Jungwoo muttered, continuing to put clothes on hangers.
An unamused expression formed on his face. "I couldn't take a nap if I wanted to," he said before gesturing at their unmade bed.
"I packed gray sheets too..." Jungwoo admitted, "They're in that bag."
After the room was deemed perfect by the two, Jungwoo ran to lay on the bed. "Yukhei~" he sang, opening his arms for the younger boy.
Getting on the bed, Lucas laid his head on Jungwoo's chest. He let out a content hum, "this is nice."
✨✨✨
They only rooms they successfully unpacked by nighttime was their bedroom and the kitchen. So they had a nice view of boxes when they went to eat dinner. Jungwoo made one of the dishes Lucas's mom had taught him, and Lucas...got them water.
"I have something I want to talk about," Lucas said when they sat down.
The elder raised an eyebrow, "You say that way a lot, Yukhei, I don't even know how there's anything left to talk about."
He let out a dramatic sigh, causing Jungwoo's to shut up and gesture for him to go on. "You know how I told you what I was working on in my sketch book was a surprise?"
"Mhm."
"Well I've been designing some clothes and I've been saving money since I started college basically—anyway I think...if you're okay with it...I want to try out my own clothing line." Lucas's eyes were fixed on his plate, scared they boy might laugh at him for being so optimistic about the chances.
"Of course I'm okay with that..." Jungwoo responded quietly, not even having to think about the answer. "You're really talented, Yukhei, I think this is something you should do."
A grin spread across Lucas's face when he heard that. He leaned over the table to press a soft kiss on his boyfriends lips. Before he could pull away, Jungwoo put a hand on the side of his face and kissed back.
After a few minutes of making out over the unwieldy table, they pulled apart. "I'm so glad you asked me to move in with you," Jungwoo whispered.
✨✨✨
It took the two a whole weekend to finally get everything unpacked, but they did it. The place was slowly starting to feel like home to then (but it was more each other than the apartment that felt right).
"Let's watch a movie," Jungwoo suggested as he jumped on Lucas who was busy drawing something.
"Yeah, sure," he muttered, going in to peck the boys lips but somehow ending up kissing his eye. He simply returned to drawing, not paying any attention to what he just did.
Jungwoo took the pencil out of the younger's hand, causing him to groan in protest. "You've been in here for hours, I want attention."
"But baby I—"
"Please~ I wanna watch a movie." He pleaded, slowly closing the sketch book and setting it off to the side.
Placing a hand in the side of his face, Lucas forward to press their lips together. "Do we have to watch the movie?" He asked when they separated.
"Maybe not all of it..." Jungwoo whispered before quickly grabbing the remote and turning their tv on. He would never admit he opened Netflix and just picked a random movie, but that was exactly what he did.
He sat there for a couple minutes, just watching the opening scenes of the movie. When he got bored of pretending to be interested in the tv, he turned to his boyfriend with a small smile. "Hi..."
Lucas raised an eyebrow, "Hi, baby." He directed his attention back to the screen, not missing the pout that formed on the elder's lips. "Wow...this is a really interesting movie."
"Very..." he muttered, crossing his arms over his chest. How dare Lucas take his suggestion of watching a movie as actually watching a movie.
Trying to be more obvious, he let out a dramatic sigh before laying his head down on Lucas's shoulder. He grabbed one of the younger's hands and placed it on his thigh. "Baby, you're cold. Do you want a blanket?" Lucas asked when he felt the cold skin of his boyfriends...bare thigh. He glanced down and raised an eyebrow at the boys tiny shorts.
"I'm fine," the elder grumbled.
"Are you sure?" Lucas pried, seeing how long it took before the elder would snap.
"Yukhei." Apparently not long.
"Yes?"
"I trying to get you to fuck me." He said bluntly, not at all embarrassed by his words.
"Oh angel, I know."
