Lucas walked out of the bathroom at the same exact time Jungwoo quite literally rolled off of the bed. The boy landed on the floor with a loud thud. It took a couple seconds, but he sat up, squinting at the sun steaming in through the curtains.
"M—My head..." He whimpered as he rubbed the palm of his hand over his forehead.
Walking over to help the boy, Lucas reached down and had to basically pick him up because of how tired he still was. "Here sit down, I got you some aspirin earlier," Lucas said as he sat Jungwoo down on the edge of his bed.
"What time is it?" Jungwoo asked quietly after he took the two pills his boyfriend left for him on the nightstand.
"Almost eleven, I assumed you wouldn't want to go to class because of this hangover."
A small groan came out of the elder before he leaned his head on Lucas's shoulder. "Can you please turn that light off—it's so bright."
"Baby, that's the sun."
"Well turn it off," Jungwoo whined.
Lucas got up and closed the curtains so the sun wasn't shining into the room as bright, "That's the best I can do."
The boy whispered a tiny, "thank you," before falling backwards into the bed and curling into a ball.
Hating that his boyfriend was in pain, Lucas sat down next to him and gently pushed the hair out of his eyes, "Just a few more minutes, then the medicine will kick in. Is there anything I can do for you?"
Jungwoo looked up at the boy towering over him with big glossy eyes. He extended his arms and whimpered, "Cuddle please?"
Of course, Lucas would never deny cuddling, so he laid down and pulled the smaller's body so it was pressed against his own. He pressed a light kiss to the back of Jungwoo's neck, "Do you remember anything from last night?"
"Not really—did I do something stupid?"
"No, nothing stupid. You were so cute and clingy all night long—not that you're only cute when you're drunk, you're cute all the time." Lucas rambled, trying to distract the elder from his probably very painful headache. "We had a few...interesting conversations though That maybe we should have again when you're not hungover or drunk."
A sigh of relief came out of Jungwoo when Lucas assured him he didn't do anything stupid. "Thank you for taking care of me last night. I can be a handful when I drink too much."
"You weren't a handful," The younger said quietly as he pulled Jungwoo closer to himself. "Although you did call me Xuhei all night long."
"Ok—in my defense, you have three names."
✨✨✨
"Guess who just aced their exa—"
"Shh! You loud ass bitch..." Lucas muttered when Hendery walked into their dorm yelling about something. His eyes quickly moved to the sleeping figure on the bed, Jungwoo's eyebrows furrowed slightly, but managed not stay asleep. A fond smile formed on Lucas's face as he examined the boys flushed cheeks and pouted lips. Jungwoo always pouted in his sleep and Lucas thought it was the cutest thing in the world. "What were you trying to say?" He asked Hendery in a hushed tone.
Setting his backpack down on the floor, an exited expression took over the boys features. "I feel like I did so good on that exam I studied all night for!"
Lucas smiled at how proud the boy was of himself, "Good job, I'm proud of you."
"You're proud?" Hendery asked, a slightly confused expression on his face.
"Why wouldn't I be?"
A small sigh fell from the boys lips before he fell into his bed. "You've been so upset with me for the past few weeks—I don't know."
"You made a mistake. A horrible mistake—but I'm not going to hold it against for forever. You did something worthy of praise, and you still deserve to feel good about yourself." When Lucas looked up, he saw that Hendery had curled into a ball.
He was letting out small sniffles as he was trying his hardest not to cry. "Lucas—I hate myself! I hate that I hurt Xiaojun...I love him so much it hurts."
Sitting down next to Hendery, Lucas placed a hand on the boys shoulder. "I know, I know it hurts. You're still young and growing mentally, both of you just need some time apart."
"I—I tried to apologize to him—but it's not enough—it's never...g—going to be enough." He sobbed as he pulled his knees up to his chest. "Xiao was my baby...and I hurt him...I never wanted to hurt him. I was s—supposed to protect him! B—But I was the one that hurt him..."
Lucas felt a lump forming in his throat upon seeing how utterly upset his friend was. Hendery was so strong, if he was crying, it was serious. "Look, I'm not going to say that Xiaojun is going to take you back—But if you're even going to try that, you have to show that you've actually changed. Crying to him once isn't going to be enough, he has to know that he can trust you."
"I know—I know that I can't sit here and f—feel bad for myself because I did this. I ruined the only good thing in my life just because I was s—scared he didn't feel the same about me anymore."
"Awww—why is Hendery crying?"
The two looked over end saw a very sleepy looking Jungwoo sitting up on the bed. There was a very concerned look on his face as he took in the youngest's current state.
"Oh you're awake baby...Hendery just misses Xiaojun
The eldest's eyebrows knit together slightly, "Do you need to cuddle?" He asked, opening his arms to the boy across the room.
Hendery whimpered out a small, "Yes please," before hurrying over to the bed Jungwoo was on and crawling into his arms. His whole body was overtaken with emotions as the elder started stroking his hair gently, and held him close.
"It's going to be okay, Hendery, everything's going to work out," Jungwoo whispered as the boy continued to sob into his chest.
