"Mommy! I'm here!" Jungwoo squeaked as he entered his childhood home. He looked around, examining the nostalgic walls surrounding him. Walking over to the fireplace, he smiled at the pictures of him and his sister lined up on the mantle.
He felt himself tear up slightly when his eyes landed on the picture taken only weeks before the accident. The siblings were hugging each other tightly, grins spread across their faces.
"I've missed you so much." When Mrs. Kim saw the tears glistening in her son's eyes, she had to try her very hardest to keep herself from falling apart.
"I missed you too," he whispered before walking over and hugging her.
She brought a hand up to gently pet the back of Jungwoo's head, running her fingers through his soft hair. "I think you get taller every time I see you."
Letting out a small giggle, he pulled away and wiped away the escaped tears on his cheeks, "I feel like a giant."
"Oh but you're such a cute giant!"
"You're home!" Mr. Kim yelled when he walked into the room. He hurried up to the two and pulled them in for a group hug. "Ah my babies!"
"Enough of this mushy stuff! Let's eat!" Mrs. Kim said, waving her hands in the air.

"Ok, Jungwoo, are there any boyfriends yet?"
Jungwoo's face turned red at his fathers question. "Um...not exclusively, but there is the one boy that I really like."
His mom gasped, "Tell me everything about him!"
"His name is Lucas, he's chinese, he's tall, really pretty, and he's so so nice to me. He literally the gentlest of men," he gushed.
The woman's eyebrows furrowed, "Then why aren't you two dating? He sounds perfect."
A sigh fell from the boys lips. "We're really good friends mommy, I don't want to mess that up." Maybe that's what he was most terrified of, telling Lucas how he felt and then everything falling into this awkward mess.
"Baby, you just have to trust your gut. Me and spent months ignoring our feelings until I finally told him. I'm married now, you never know."
Just as he was going to respond, he felt his phone vibrate from where he had it tucked under his thigh. He flipped it over and smiled at the texts

Don't worry, I'll keep it safe. I hope you're having fun!!
There was an intrigued look on Mr. Kim's face as he stared at his son. "Was that him? That was him wasn't it!"
"It was—"
"Oh my gosh he's blushing!" His mom gushed, reaching across the table and pinching his cheek.
"Stopppp" He whined, hiding his face in his hands.
Their laughs only got louder as Jungwoo got more embarrassed. "Jungwoo's got a boyfriend~" his mother sang. His dad joined in on the little song that only consisted of, "Jungwoo's got a boyfriend~"
"He's not my boyfriend—and you two are going to jinx it!"
Rolling his eyes, Mr. Kim pushed the food around on his plate. "Jungwoo, son, there is no possible way that this Lucas boy won't like you. And if he doesn't...I know a guy who can take care of him." he moved in closer when he said the last part, trying to make it so Mrs. Kim couldn't hear.
She slapped his arm, "You are a psychopath! I'm married to a psychopath!"
"And I'm married to the most beautiful woman in the world," he propped his chin up on his palm and shifted towards her, giving his wife a sweet smile.
Jungwoo was happy to see that his parents were the same, still so in love with each other. He'd always had this fear deep in his mind that love would never really work you. You could never stay in love with somebody for a lifetime, but his parents proved that fear wrong. They surely had their arguments, but that never affected their relationships.

"I'm here for my lipgloss." Jungwoo mumbled tiredly when Lucas opened the door for him.
A smile spread across the younger's face when he saw Jungwoo's droopy eyes and the way his hands subconsciously fidgeted with the sleeves of his cardigans. You could say the boy looked exhausted in the cutest way possible.
"I could've given it to you tomorrow, silly." Putting an arm around the shorter boy, Lucas led him into his dorm, ignoring Hendery who was making kissy faces at the two.
Xioajun hit his boyfriends chest, "Stop being nosy Henry." He turned to the sleepy boy and waved at him, "Hi Jungwoo!"
Jungwoo tried his best to do something that resembled a smile, "Hi, Junnie."
"What's gotcha so tired, darling?" Lucas asked as they sat down on his bed.
He blushed at the nickname, even though this wasn't the first time Lucas used that for him, it still made his cells feel like they were swelling to the point they were going to burst. "I think it's all the driving today." Letting his eyes close, he laid his on the younger boys chest. A pleasant warmth enveloped him when a pair of arms wrapped around him, bringing him closer to his friend's chest.
"Do you want to stay here tonight? I'll set an alarm this time."
"I don't have class tomorrow morning, neither do you," Jungwoo reminded him.
He could feel the vibrations through his body as Lucas laughed. "Wow I forgot my own schedule."
"At least you've got me to remember it for you," the words barley made it past Jungwoo's lips as he felt himself slowly drifting into unconsciousness.
"At least I've got you," Lucas repeated, watching the boys peaceful expression while he breathed in and out at the same pace as himself.
